Our instructors cater to students of all ages and skill levels, personalizing lesson plans to align with your specific objectives, whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or advanced player. Jimmy offers In-Person or Online music lessons on Acoustic & Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, Mandolin, Ukulele, Merlin and Banjo to all ages at Long & McQuade Belleville.

Jimmy Rodgers started playing guitar around the age of 12 years old and has been on his musical journey ever since.
Watching and learning from the multiple musicians in his family he was able to hone his skills. With time and years of practice Jimmy branched out onto numerous other instruments.
Jimmy’s love of performing music has led to playing all over the Hastings and Quinte areas as one half of the duo, The Rodgers Boys. He is also known for his Lead Guitar work in the Rock Band "Beyond the Call".
His teaching style is individualized to each student and not genre specific.
From complex musical theory to just basic chords, meeting people at their level is his main focus in teaching.

Payment for each month's lessons is due in the first week of the month. Lesson rates vary with the location, instrument and the teachers' education and experience. Though some are lower or higher, on average they are between $25 and $31 per half hour private lesson. Automatic withdrawals on the 5th of each month make payments easy.
