As the largest lesson centre in the Fredericton region, we feature 9 clean and well equipped lesson studios, a friendly environment and affordable lesson rates. Matthew Brown is a versatile musician and experienced educator specializing in orchestral string instruments. He will be teaching violin, viola, cello and fiddle at the Fredericton location. With a foundation laid by Rueline Geishecker, Matthew’s teaching style combines traditional methods with personalized approaches, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment. Having completed a music degree at Mount Allison University, Matthew brings a wealth of knowledge in music theory and performance to his teaching. As a passionate advocate for music education, Matthew is committed to nurturing the next generation of musicians and sharing his love for music with students of all ages and skill levels. Matthew’s lesson rate for a half-hour private lesson is $25.

Oksana Hnievysheva is an internationally experienced cellist having played with orchestras as part of duets, trios, quartets, and as a soloist. She started her professional cello career at age 22 in China. Oksana has held cellist contracts in 5-star hotels around the world and on cruise ships. She was classically trained in Ukraine at the Academy of Music and holds a Junior Specialist Diploma in Music Performance and Education. Oksana is an experienced instructor and was praised for her ability to support each student on their unique journey. She will be using her skills to foster an interactive learning environment at the lesson centre in Fredericton. Oksana’s rate for a half hour private lesson is $25.
