Conveniently located uptown at 981 Prospect Street, we have morning, afternoon, evening and weekend lesson times available to fit your busy schedule. As the largest lesson centre in the Fredericton region, we feature 9 clean and well equipped lesson studios, a friendly environment and affordable lesson rates. Offering guitar lessons, piano lessons, drum lessons, voice lessons and more, our qualified and professional music instructors will guide you to your musical goals while making learning fun! Arya Shahrostambeik began his musical journey at 7 years old when his parents enrolled him in a music theory class. He was taught using Orff's approach and chose to study the piano. After high school, he decided to share his love of music with others and began teaching piano and music theory as a volunteer which led him to start teaching piano privately. Arya has also worked as a session musician and played with several bands in many styles including traditional, folk, pop, rock and jazz. He has a strong passion for music and enjoys sharing that with his students. Arya's rate for a half hour private lesson is $23.

Nathaniel Sergeant has played piano for over 20 years and taught privately for 5 years and completed his Grade 10 Royal Conservatory exam. He returned to his hometown of Fredericton in 2016, where he has focused on teaching piano, providing choral and instrumental accompaniment, and offering solo entertainment for events including weddings and regular recitals at retirement homes. Nathaniel firmly believes that music is a journey unique to every individual and in his lessons he encourages his students to express themselves through music by learning in a way that is creative and has special meaning to them. Nathaniel's rate for a half hour private lesson is $24.

Nick Bell has a diploma from the Centre of Arts and Technology where he studied recording arts, music theory, composition and music business. Nick has been playing drums for over 20 years, and bass for over 10 years. He has learned from several local musicians within Fredericton & Moncton. A main influence for Nick is Progressive Rock & Metal. He has played in several bands throughout New Brunswick. Nick has been giving lessons at Long & McQuade for about 10 years and is enthusiastic about teaching students of all ages, levels and styles. Nick’s rate for a half hour private lesson is $26.

Sébastian Renault started his musical adventure at the age of 5, when he was enrolled in piano lessons at Long & McQuade. After completing level 10 of the Royal Conservatory of Music, he continued his studies by doing a Bachelor’s of music at the Université de Moncton, where he developed a big interest in music theory and composition. Sébastien offers lessons in English or in French, and can accommodate a wide variety of skills and goals. He is excited to share the delight of music with all who are interested! Sébastien’s rate for a half hour private lesson is $24.
Our Group Lessons:
Wanna be a rock star or experience what it's like to be in a band? Join our Summer Rock Camp!! Students gain skill in rhythm and lead guitar, bass, drums, percussion, keys, and vocals. Includes popular and contemporary rock standards, sound, stage set-up, and lighting techniques. Final performance on the last day! Some experience required. Space limited. Ages 12-18 years old welcome! Held Monday through Friday 9am-3pm at 981 Prospect Street. Students should bring lunch and a water bottle. To register, contact the Lesson Centre.
