Alex Doucet is a seasoned guitar and bass player with over 20 years of experience. He is well versed in many musical styles including blues, bluegrass, country, rock, pop, and jazz. Alex is a passionate and dedicated teacher who works with students of all ages and skill levels. He provides guidance on musical notation, simple chord shapes, and more advanced rhythms and leads. He is happy to help students learn and grow through lessons at our location in Fredericton. Alex's rate for a half hour private lesson is $26.

Chris Mercer has over two decades of teaching all ages, musicals styles and skill levels. He teaches acoustic/electric guitar, ukulele, bass guitar, and popular piano at the Fredericton Lesson Centre. Whether an absolute beginner, intermediate or even advanced level musician looking to expand or improve your skillset, Chris is more than capable of helping you reach your musical goals. Choose from an individually customized lesson strategy, follow a method book or both. Whatever you decide, you are sure to benefit from one on one lessons with him. Chris's rate for a half hour private lesson is $26.

Jeff Campbell has played guitar and bass for 20+ years. Some of his specializations include: improvisation, fingerstyle guitar, slap bass, and songwriting. Over the last 15 years, Jeff has consistently performed and recorded with professional bands playing music he wrote. His influences span rock, funk, metal, jazz, indie, folk, ska, punk, and reggae. Jeff is passionate about music and the pursuit of musical learning. He is excited to help students of all ability levels find a path to improve their playing and get past musical plateaus at our Fredericton location. Jeff's rate for a half-hour private lesson is $24.

Nick Bell has a diploma from the Centre of Arts and Technology where he studied recording arts, music theory, composition and music business. Nick has been playing drums for over 25 years, and bass for over 15 years. He has learned from several local musicians within Fredericton & Moncton. A main influence for Nick is Progressive Rock & Metal. He has played in several bands throughout New Brunswick. Nick has been giving lessons at Long & McQuade for more than 10 years and is enthusiastic about teaching students of all ages, levels and styles. Nick’s rate for a half hour private lesson is $27.
