Caleb began playing drums in his early teens, primarily self taught. He has since learned more tricks and techniques to improve his playing, and enjoys sharing that knowledge with students just beginning to learn as well as those looking to improve their own playing and technique. His skills and knowledge are heavily rooted in Rock and Metal, including many subgenres. Caleb's rate is $25 per half hour lesson.
colton boyd-hoare (Guitar, Bass Guitar, Ukulele)

Colton has been playing guitar for 20 years and performing live music around B.C. for the past 12. He specializes in rock music, specifically blues and hard rock solos, mastering stage presence, and the art of songwriting. Colton has studied various guitar techniques over the years and enjoys helping his students of all age levels to create a specialized lesson plan that suits the individual. Colton's lesson rate is $30 per half hour lesson.

George earned a Diploma from Kwantlen Polytechnic University, with a Major in Classical Guitar. He also studied Music History and Theory. He enjoys teaching in both group and individual settings and enjoys working with students of all ages. He teaches Guitar, Bass Guitar, Ukulele and Theory. George's rate is $27 per half hour lesson.

John started his musical journey starting with lessons (Theory/Practical) at 12. This led to playing with local cover bands, youth groups, and teaching at Scandia Music. His natural sense of rhythm and love of ALL music has rewarded him with many live performance opportunities, including a 3-year gig with an original Vancouver artist who played all over Vancouver. John is dedicated to all things musical and live performance. He is an active free lance drummer, with sound engineering skills and basic bass guitar capabilities. John's lesson rate is $26 per half hour lesson.
karl andersen (Piano, Violin, Cello, Flute, Clarinet, Theory)

Karl earned his ARCT in Piano Performance in 1991, and has been teaching since 1994. He studied at the University of Victoria and received his Bachelor's and Master's of Music degrees, and is a member of the Registered Music Teachers Association for BC. He teaches Piano, Violin, Cello, Flute, Clarinet, and Theory. Karl's rate is $27 per half hour lesson.

Rowan has been playing piano since he was 7 years old and has since climbed through RCM until he graduated Level 8 with First Class Honours. Rowan continues to try and improve and wants to help others do the same. He is most familiar with classical music, but enjoys playing and teaching jazz as well as other genres of music. Rowan's rate is $26 per half hour lesson.
ruth peterson (Piano, Theory)

Ruth began teaching music at the age of 18, and studied at the University of Concordia. She has taught for many years in Alberta, Saskatchewan and BC, has participated in multiple Kiwanis Festivals, and has earned her Grade 9 in Royal Conservatory, as well as completed courses in Establishing Strong Foundations for Young Pianists with The Frances Clark Center, and Royal Conservatory's Teaching Elementary Piano. She has taught music story time groups and loves making her lessons fun and engaging. She is fluent in French and English. Ruth's rate is $27 per half hour lesson.
