Adrian has been teaching trumpet and theory since 1998. He attended the Capilano College Jazz Studies program, studying with Juno Award winner Brad Turner and worked with Dal Richards and his Orchestra. He is a member of a number of salsa, funk, and R&B Bands. His rate is $31/half hour.

Andrew graduated from the Vancouver Academy of Music with a BMUS in Violin Performance, and has been teaching since 2008. He believes studying a wide variety of genres will help the student express themselves and develop their self-confidence in music and in life. Andrew's rate is $32/half hour.

Arthur is currently completing his Bachelor of Applied Music Degree at VCC, with a major in Drums and Performance and a minor in Composition. He has had the privilege of studying with some of Vancouver's best drummers including Bernie Arai, Craig Scott, Liam MacDonald, and has studied composition with Paul Plimley and Alan Matheson. A busy musician, Arthur currently plays in four bands and performs in greater Vancouver. His rate is $31/half hour.

Caitlin is an experienced vocalist, accompanist, composer, and graduate of Vancouver Community College's jazz voice program with a minor in Classical Voice. She has been performing and teaching in Vancouver for over seven years. As a performer, Caitlin has fronted a 13-piece funk band, various jazz combos, as well as solo work. As an instructor, she has taught voice and piano as well as musical theatre performances. Caitlin is adaptable and passionate, specializing in jazz, pop and rock. Coal has achieved both a Diploma and a Bachelors of Jazz Studies in Music Education from Capilano University majoring in woodwinds. His music journey began over 20 years ago on guitar but soon began to include woodwinds. He has played with many groups across the lower mainland varying in style from classical to traditional jazz and pop. Having completed his BA in Applied Music from VCC in 2017, Colin is an accomplished musician and multi-instrumentalist. His enthusiastic teaching approach is to encourage students to achieve their full potential. Eimear MacCarrick is a composer and music teacher from Ireland, currently based in BC. She began playing the piano at the age of 8 and grew up with a passion for music. In 2014, Eimear completed a diploma in piano with the Victorian College of Music and Drama London and began teaching in Ireland shortly after. In 2018, Eimear relocated to Vancouver. Since then, Eimear has composed music for a number of projects, including the short film "I AM AN ISLAND", for which she won Best Score at the Underground Cinema Awards in Dublin 2021. For the past five years, Emily has been working as a music therapist as well as providing typical and adaptive piano lessons at Long and McQuade. Her music therapy training helps her accommodate different learning styles and abilities in the lesson room. Jack is a certified contemporary guitarist who has a Degree in Guitar Performance from Musicians Institute as well as an Advanced Professional Certification in Composition from Berklee College of Music. He is sophisticated in guitar shredding, heavy metal, rock, blues, jazz, neoclassical, songwriting, and music theory. He has also studied under some of the finest virtuosos in the world, such as Dave Martone, Paul Gilbert, Tony MacAlpine, etc. He released his first solo instrumental album Livin’ the Moments in 2018. Jack has been gigging consistently for the past 6 years. Jack is open to teach students of all age groups and skill levels. His rate is $32/half hour.

Katherine Bonness received her Bachelor of Music in viola performance from the University of Manitoba and has studied violin, piano, theory, and composition privately. Katherine has performed in a wide variety of ensembles across Canada as a violinist and violist, from string quartets to orchestras. With over a decade of teaching experience, Katherine customizes her approach to each student, using various method books and supplementary material, while emphasizing solid foundational techniques and catering to the individual's musical interests to keep things fun! She can help students of all ages and levels prepare for anything from just learning for enjoyment, to mastering a specific piece, performing in recitals, auditions, preparing for RCM exams, and beyond to any other musical goals the student might have. Paul started playing the violin at age 6. He studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music in London for a number of years, came to Canada in 1987, and continued his music education at the University of British Columbia and Manhattan School of Music in New York. Since then, Paul has been playing and teaching in North America for the last 20 years. Paul is actively performing all year round with local symphony orchestras and small ensembles... from Classical to Jazz and constantly recording with many local composers/artists. In 1985 he bought Milestone Percussion, a unique custom drum company which was re-named Tempus Drums. Roshanak started playing piano at age 8. At age 16 she turned her focus from Iranian music to Western classical music and obtained her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in piano performance. She also has a conducting certificate from Capilano University. Her desire is to help students become more intelligent, diligent, conscious, and to help them to experience the joy of playing piano. Roshi is a RCM certified teacher, and a specialist in both elementary and intermediate music education. Her rate is $37/half hour.

Vladimir’s first musical experience started during high school at the age of 15. Soon after, he joined a few bands in which he performed at different events for school. It did not take him too long to realize that music was his passion, and continues to be in the present. He obtained his music degree in 2014 and has been teaching ever since. He studied with the most renowned drummers in Colombia, including Fran Calzadilla, Daniel Chebair, and Alex Martinez. Vladimir’s drumming style is very adaptable and dynamic, with a heavy influence of Rock, Jazz and Funk. For Vladimir, it is always a thrill to show and inspire his students from different ages and welcome them into the drumming world. His rate is $31/half hour.
