Aaron Brazeau is a versatile musician based in Vancouver who has been teaching Guitar, Piano and Voice lessons since 2016. Aaron completed his BMus in 2020 at VCC, where he studied guitar under Daryl Jahnke, piano under Sharon Minimoto, and voice in ensembles under Paula Kramer and Gerald Van Wyck. Aaron enjoys teaching and playing many different styles such as Pop, Rock, Jazz and more! Aaron's rate is $29 per half hour.

Brigette has been teaching since 1993. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Trinity University with a strong focus in education. Brigette has a wide-range of experience in accompanying, performing, and teaching. She is experienced in preparing students for RCM exams at all levels. Her rate is $30 per half hour.

An active member of many unique local bands, he has experience both locally and abroad. Eric has his Bachelor's degree in Jazz Studies from Capilano University. He has a passion for a great variety of music; jazz, pop, funk, blues, rock, and even metal. He is a versatile multi-instrumentalist with a desire to inspire and encourage students to enjoy playing music. His rate is $29 per half hour lesson.

gloria larsen (Clarinet, Piano, Saxophone)

Gloria began playing piano at the age of 9 and continues to have a love of music to this day. She progressed through the Royal Conservatory of Music to grade 10 and took up saxophone and clarinet in middle and high school. She received a Bachelor's of Music from UBC in 2015 and has been teaching music since 2013. She currently enjoys teaching piano, saxophone and clarinet to all ages. Her rate is $29 per half hour.

james huumo (Piano, Keyboard)

James has a Bachelor of Music in piano performance from Capilano University and has been teaching piano since 2007. He has his Grade 10 Royal Conservatory of Music qualification and is knowledgeable in both teaching and performing jazz, classical, and rock. James has performed with Theatre Under the Stars in "Shrek The Musical” and is busy with his original project “Best Night Ever”. His rate is $29 per half hour.

julia kim (Violin, Piano)

Julia has a Bachelors Degree in Violin from Yonsei University in Korea and a Masters Degree from the American Conservatory of Music. She has performed in many different orchestras and ensembles as a member and a concertmaster. She has been teaching violin and piano for over 30 years and teaches students of all abilities and ages. Many of her students have competed at festivals with distinction. She is experienced in preparing students for RCM exams in both piano and violin at all levels. Julia is a welcoming teacher who enjoys seeing her students improve. She often finds herself sharing her love and passion for classical music with her students.
Her rate is $30 per half hour.

jullin o'scheaur (Piano, Voice, Theory)

Jullin specializes in advanced piano and vocal training but enjoys helping students at any level achieve their goals. She has over 30 years experience in teaching and performance and worked in nearly every music genre. Vocal Performance studies began at Lakehead University, continued with Robert Turner of Portsmouth, Virginia then followed by lessons with Dr. Shirley Zielinski at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. She studied Jazz and Classical Piano and has a Diploma from Western Ontario Conservatory of Music in Piano Teaching. She is past Executive Director of the Richmond Music Festival; Vancouver Kiwanis Music Festivals and past GM of the Vancouver Youth Symphony Orchestra. Jullin's rate is $30/ half hour.

kimberlee smith (Piano)

Kimberlee had her first piano lesson at the age of 5 with the RCM program and decided to pursue music teaching as a career. She has her ARCT performance certificate, and has been a member of the BCRMTA since 2000. She has been teaching for over 28 years and has been very successful preparing candidates for RCM practical and theory exams. She believes in catering lessons to the needs and goals of each individual student. Her rate is $30 per half hour.

Micah was born in a musical family. She began playing piano and violin at an early age. Throughout the years she has gained many musical experiences such as playing in orchestra, performing, and accompanying. Micah is dedicated to helping students to develop fundamental skills as well as guiding them to find their musical interests. She teaches piano using RCM method and violin using both RCM and Suzuki method. Her rate is $29 per half hour.

Rich has a Bachelor of Music (Composition) degree from University Of Toronto and an Associate Diploma (ARCT) in piano performance from the Royal Conservatory of Toronto. He is also an accomplished guitarist, bassist, and vocalist, with over 15 years of experience onstage and in the studio. He plays a wide range of music including rock, pop, blues, folk, reggae, and electronic. His classical training combined with his years of stage and studio experience allow him to provide a balanced approach to music lessons and can prepare students interested in RCM. He addresses each student's needs individually with emphasis on ear training, improvisation, and fun. Rich's rate is $29 per half hour.

Sara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education. She has completed her Grade 10 RCM as well as advanced theory. She currently teaches piano and theory, including basic to advanced Rudiments, Harmony, and Counterpoint. With over ten years of teaching she aims to teach music concepts that create a foundation that will provide self-directed learning. Her goal is to foster a love for learning and music appreciation. Her rate is $29 per half hour.

tricia scheffel (Piano)

Tricia started learning to play music at a young age and recognizes the value in teaching a love of music to kids. She has enjoyed working with children since she was a young teen and has experience working with special needs children and teens as well. Tricia enjoys a variety of music genres, including high levels of Royal Conservatory piano. She has also been involved in playing on music teams at church since she was a teenager and has been leading a church music team regularly since 2014. Her rate is $29 per half hour.
