Carlos Castro (Piano)

Carlos has over 39 years of experience in teaching groups and private music practice, and has been active in the music business as a performer, arranger, clinician, adjudicator, and music educator. Carlos’ education includes attending the Conservatory of Music in Mexico City, RCM, and numerous courses at Berklee College, University of Rochester, The University of Edinburgh, and National University of Singapore. Carlos works with students of all ages and levels while incorporating fun activities and creates personalized lessons for each student. His rate is $31 per half hour.
Marina Shamkina (Piano)

Marina Shamkina has been teaching piano and theory since 1997. She holds a BMus in Piano Teaching, and an MA in Music Education from Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University, Russia. Marina specializes in preparing students for RCM and BCCM examinations, as well as music festivals. She has a keen ability to identify each student’s unique talents and tailors her teaching methods to ensure they learn with joy and confidence.
Her rate is $29 per half hour.
Natalja Seiljus (Piano)

Natalja has been passionate about music ever since she began playing piano at 7 years old. She graduated from the Vologda Regional College of Arts (VRCA) in 1983 from the Faculty of Piano & Rudiments following her education at a performance arts school in Estonia. Natalja’s top priority is promoting a positive and stress-free environment for her students - it is important to her that each student enjoys their lessons, sees results, and is able to play songs as early as possible. Natalja’s rate is $28 per half hour lesson.
