Adrian has been an avid guitar player since 1992, including 8 years of private instruction with Carl Kory, Jim Blair and Mitch Merrett. His roots and influences are in rock music, but he also loves to play and teach metal, funk, pop, blues, gospel, country and many other genres. He plays with a variety of bands, both live and for studio recordings. Additionally, Adrian has a certificate in Audio Engineering. Adrian’s lessons are engaging, fun and tailored to each student’s unique goals and interests.
His rate is $30 per half hour.
Cheryl St. Pierre (Clarinet, Flute, , Woodwinds)

Cheryl’s passion for music began back in her middle school band program, where she got to learn & experience a variety of instruments and ensembles. She has also been involved in many community woodwind ensembles such as the Fraser Valley Winds Ensemble & the Greater Vancouver Youth Music Academy. Cheryl started her degree at Kwantlen Polytechnic University and graduated at the University of British Columbia, in Spring 2023. At both schools she studied saxophone under Julia Nolan.
Her rate is $30 per half hour.
Chris Savage (Violin, Viola, Cello)

Chris Savage has been playing violin since 2008, and studied with Dr. Calvin Dyck. He studied Violin Performance at Kwantlen Polytechnic University and since then, has taught in many music schools in BC and Ontario.
His rate is $28 per half hour.
Christopher Russell (Guitar, Piano, Banjo, Mandolin, Drums)

Chris has been performing and teaching music professionally since 1998. He started out playing rock, blues and metal, before taking classical performance at York University. He later studied composition, theory and jazz at Grant MacEwan University. Chris has performed live with Oscar Peterson, recorded and performed with world renowned bluegrass artist John Reischman (Tony Rice), and worked in the CBC studios as a session musician. He is an expert in many genres including rock, blues, metal, classical, jazz, prog, funk, country, folk, bluegrass, world and finger picking.
His rate is $29 per half hour.
Cindy Cooper (Piano, Voice)

As an accomplished singer, songwriter and composer, Cindy makes playing the piano, musical composition and singing an easy and fun experience. She loves leading students of all ages towards making connections with music and meeting their goals in a creative and fun style through tailored lessons and music manipulatives. She maintains a balance of all aspects of music within her lesson plans, including technique, ear training, composition and theory. She has her RCM Level 9 in Piano, and Theory, and has taken several courses in songwriting and music production from Berklee University. Giving students the necessary tools to learn to play and sing the music that they are passionate about is a highlight of being in the studio with her while she encourages students to become accomplished musicians in their own way.
Her rate is $30 per half hour.
Eileen Heatherington (Clarinet, Flute, Oboe, Theory, Voice, Woodwinds)

Eileen has always had a passion for music and has been playing and performing for over 23 years. As a classically trained flutist, Eileen completed her Grade Nine practical exam with the Royal Conservatory of Music before receiving her Bachelor of Music with a concentration in flute and voice from Trinity Western University. She studied under Dr. Paolo Bortolussi, and has a wealth of performance experience including jazz and classical band, orchestra, small ensemble, and solo performance. She performed with the Chilliwack Symphony orchestra, as well as the TWU band, orchestra, wind ensemble, and choir. She has served as a flute clinician, teacher, and music theory tutor. Eileen loves to help others discover and develop their own musical passion, and focuses on creating a learning experience specifically tailored to each student.

Karen Savage (Piano)

Karen has been performing and teaching piano professionally for 25 years. She holds a BA degree in piano performance and studied through ARCT level Royal Conservatory. She attributes her expertise to the extensive instruction she received from world renowned concert pianist Reid Alexander from University of Illinois, and renowned Canadian pianist and RCM editor and adjudicator, Dr. Dale Wheeler. Karen's enthusiastic teaching style especially motivates young students and those of all ages to learn easy playing techniques, strategic practicing methods and skillful playing abilities.

Lance Chalmers (Drums, Guitar)

Lance has been a professional drummer for over 30 years, playing with touring bands such as Trooper. He enjoys sharing his musical experience and technical expertise with all his students. Lance offers a fun and relaxing professional method of learning for his students.

Mark Hildebrand (Guitar, Mandolin, Ukulele)

Mark discovered guitar at the age of 14. He plays acoustic, electric, lap steel, mandolin, ukulele, bass and bandurria. He has been teaching all ages how to enjoy these instruments for over 30 years. As a young man, he won the Royal Conservatory’s silver medal of Canada in classical guitar. Mark has continued by composing new finger-style works that showcase this training. Mark has always admired artists like Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan, and old masters like Robert Johnson and Son House. That passion led to a nomination for a Covenant award by the Canadian Gospel Music Association for Best Blues Song, 'Waiting For the Resurrection'.
His rate is $28 per half hour.
Troy Barnes (Clarinet, Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone, Brass, Woodwinds)

Troy specializes on saxophone and clarinet, and teaches other woodwinds and beginner brass as well. He enjoys teaching students of all ages and musical styles, particularly classical, concert band, jazz, and improvisation. Troy has been teaching since 1998 and is patient and easygoing though he likes to challenge his students while keeping the lessons fun.
