At only 22 years old, Caleb brings 14+ years of playing experience to the table.
Caleb started taking lessons at 8 years old, where he immediately began playing in church during his pre-teens & young adulthood.
After years of playing during his Junior High & High School, Caleb joined Red Deer based Pop Punk band "Safety Gear", where you can hear him drumming on their Latest EP, titled "That's What's Up", available on all streaming platforms.
Caleb has always had a desire to learn and continue to grow with his instrument. Caleb has never forgotten what it's like to be a student, because he himself is still a student.
He is currently enrolled in online lessons with Jay Postones, teacher & drummer for world touring Progressive Metal band "TesseracT".
Caleb understands the challenges that can come with learning, and he knows not everyone learns the same. Caleb is able to offer different approaches to the way's lessons are taught & materials are given.
From the basic fundamentals & ergonomics of drumming, to more genre specific learning of the following styles : Pop, Rock, Funk, Metal, Christian Contemporary / Worship.
Ultimately, Caleb truly desires to share his passion of drumming with any and all who seek to learn. His rate is $28.00 per half hour.

Calvin has over 30 years experience in the music industry professionally as a teacher and as a musician. He has taught piano/keyboard lessons for the past 20 years, including most recently at our Kamloops location. Genres and styles taught include classical, pop, rock, R&B and jazz. As a musician Calvin has in the past performed for Rocky Mountain Tour Dinner Theatres in Kamloops B.C and with a number of musical groups ranging from duos up to 8 piece bands.

Jesse graduated from Red Deer College music program in 2011 with a major in electric guitar. He also pursued specializations at the College in: Composition, recording/engineering, and classical guitar.
Jesse writes for, and performs in the band The Humble Cartel, which you can find on all streaming platforms.

Josh Rickard is a multi instrumentalist, composer, and music educator with over 30 years of performing and teaching experience. Josh composes music for film, television, and several band and solo projects. Josh performs with The Boss Novas, a contemporary surf instrumental band, and the Josh Rickard Trio, which features Josh's particular brand of Jazz. Josh offers Guitar lessons for beginners, intermediate or advanced players. Josh is well versed in multiple genres, including Rock, Classic / Surf Rock, Punk Rock or Pop Punk, Blues, Jazz, Acoustic singer / song writer, Christian Contemporary. Country, Bluegrass, Finger Style Guitar, and most other contemporary forms of guitar playing. You may also want to take a course with Josh, in songwriting, music theory, music production, music composition, Jazz theory and arrangement. Karys has been playing piano for their whole life and has over 15 years of playing in recitals, festivals and whenever they get the chance to play in public. Karys loves playing music any chance they get. They also love playing other instruments such as violin, guitar, drums, and ukulele. Karys has achieved awards for their performances such as: Adjudicators choice with the Red Deer festival of music two times. They have also been chosen to play at the festival’s showcase. And, while within the year 2022, also getting chosen to play at the Alberta provincial festival and getting honours. As well as being a two-time gold medalist with the Sylvan Lake festival of music festival. Karys Also has gotten honours in their RCM level 9 and 10 Keyboard harmony exam and level 8 practical exam. And First-class honours with distinction on their level 8 Theory exam. They are continuing their studies through the Royal Conservatory of Music. Fun fact, Karys has also been a competitive bowler since the age of 4. They also did competitive gymnastics for 13 years and competed internationally! Karys really takes pride in what they do and loves to work with people of all ages no matter if they have experience or not, to help grow their knowledge of music. Karys also has lots of experience working with people that have developmental disabilities and makes sure every one of their students can learn at their own pace. With over 3 years of teaching experience Karys has been teaching at Long and McQuade for over a year at the Red Deer location. Their rate is $26 per half hour lesson.

With 30 years of performing and recording experience, Kji has transmitted his passion for music into teaching. Developing a strong and positive bond with each family and student over his more than 18 years of private music lessons has been a blessing. Many students have moved on to their own professional recording and performing careers. As a music teacher who focuses on drums/bass, acoustic and electric guitar, it is Kji's gift to help each individual student let their light shine through music.

Michael, or "Diggs" as he's fondly known, brings a lifetime of musical experience as both a performer and educator. With years of experience in solo and band performances, his expertise spans across acoustic and electric guitar, to ukulele and song writing. He is dedicated to getting you or your child playing songs on any instrument of choice in the shortest time possible. His teaching philosophy is simple: “If we’re not having fun, we’re not doing it right.” In addition to his performance experience, Michael has developed youth programs for various organizations. His engaging and motivational teaching style inspires learners of all ages to quickly grasp new skills and develop a genuine passion for their musical journey. Whether you’re interested in rock, blues, pop, country, or any specific genre, Michael (Diggs) is an excellent choice as a musical mentor. Michael is currently offering acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, and songwriting lessons on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. His rate is $30 per half-hour lesson.

Ronen Eagles has over 15 years of classical and musical theatre voice experience, they have received they’re level 10 certificate from the Royal Conservatory of Music, as well as multiple scholarships and music awards from performances at the Red Deer Performing Arts Festival, as well as through the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg. They received 2 years of training throughout the classical voice program at the University of Manitoba, working with many different accomplished musicians to hone in they’re vocal technique and overall music literacy. They are an active member of the Red Deer theatre community, and continue to take lessons privately to further their knowledge as they continue to work towards a career in teaching and vocal performance.

Trenton Fawcett is a multi-talented professional musician. Graduated with a diploma of Contemporary Music and Technology majoring in Composition at Selkirk College. Recorded and released eight studio albums varying in genres such as rock, psychedelic, indie, singer/songwriter and new age. Trenton has played in many bands and performed multiple shows in Alberta throughout his career. He has several years of professional music teaching experience and is able to work with all ages and loves making lessons enjoyable and fun for anyone wanting to learn music! Trenton teaches bass guitar, drums, guitar, piano, and ukulele at our Red Deer location. His rate is $33 for half hour lessons.
