I am an educator and performer in the Edmonton area. My career has spanned most of the country, beginning in Toronto, ON, completing graduate school in St. John's, NL, and now bringing my skills to Edmonton! I have been a musician in the Canadian Armed Forces since 2016, and a freelance musician for a majority of my professional career!

I have been a featured soloist on Euphonium on numerous occasions, a sought after section Trombonist for pit orchestra and other ensembles, and a clinician for many schools and band programs, I bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to lessons.

My approach to teaching is simple, make it enjoyable both in and outside of the studio! Incorporating music from movies and TV shows is one of my favourite tools to use. I hope to see you in a lesson soon!
Connor's rate is $30 per half hour lesson.

Jerry taught band in a high school setting for over 15 years, and holds a Bachelor of Music as well as a Master of Education degree. Jerry has had a love of teaching for many years and wants to continue passing on his knowledge at Long & McQuade. Primarily Jerry plays violin, clarinet and saxophone but can also teach any band instrument up to a level 2 proficiency. Jerry offers lessons at our Edmonton North location.
His rate is $28 per half hour.

Payment for each month's lessons is due in the first week of the month. Lesson rates vary with the location, instrument and the teachers' education and experience. Though some are lower or higher, on average they are between $25 and $31 per half hour private lesson. Automatic withdrawals on the 5th of each month make payments easy.
