S.E. Shires are predominantly known for their excellence in the low brass industry, however famed trumpetist Doc Severinsen requested personally that Shires builds trumpets and they have since become some of the most sought after horns across the globe.
The Masters series trumpets from S.E. Shires are their main thrust into the professional trumpet market. players have found success using Shires trumpets in any genre, whether it be classical, jazz, or commercial.

The TRB produces an open, round, and warm tone due to its broad flare on the one piece, hand-hammered "B" model bell, also providing the player with effortlessly smooth articulation.
The Shires "WH" leadpipe is of a heavy-weight yellow brass construction, providing a free blowing experience with well defined slots and great response. Following along the tubing of the instrument you'll arrive at the "W" tuning slide. Featuring a dual-radius bend, compacting the sound into a strong core and improving response in the upper register of the instrument. The relatively quick taper of the leadpipe into the tuning slides adds a note of brilliance to the otherwise characteristically warm sound of the broad bell taper.
Brass valve caps and ballusters add more character to the instrument while increasing the neatness and quick response of the sound.
