Please read full description. This is a 1992 Gibson Herb Ellis ES-165. All parts on this guitar are original. There are a few things to note, however:
- The frets do have wear. There is buzz up the fretboard - its not enough to be super sizzly but because this guitar has been played and is 32 years of age, it could eventually benefit from a refret/fret levelling. The notes are still prominent up and down the board.
- There is writing on the inside of the f holes (both sides - please see photos). We have been told this is likely from the factory.
- The truss rod has some room but is starting to get tight. As of right now, the guitar does play well (minus the fret buzz) but because it has been adjusted time and time again, the truss rod has seen a lot of action.
- There is some minor wear to the body. This does not affect playability but it has had its time being played.

The guitar does come with a Gibson hardshell case. The case is worn but it still functions well.
