Description
The Mythical Overdrive is a low gain overdrive / boost based on the legendary Klon Centaur. Each MO is handmade in Oregon by Ken himself, and they just exude quality from the moment you pick one up. Made from quality components with several options for color, knobs, and clipping diodes allow you to customize the Mythical Overdrive to your liking.
Available in standard spec which helps tame brighter rigs and vintage spec built to get that Klon tone everyone wants but few can afford.
The 1N34 (germanium diodes) offers vintage clipping at lower gain settings - germanium diodes provide warm tube amp like breakup.
The OA128 - NOS German Telefunken ( silicon based ) clip at higher gain setting allowing for more headroom and an increased boost. Great compliment to the 1N34 providing more versatility when you really want to cook the preamp section of your amp
