Expandable FX Library
To maximize your investment, the Discrete 4 Synergy Core includes a library of 36 real-time studio effects, meticulously modeled after their hardware originals. Everything happens inside your audio interface with the lowest possible latency thanks to the FPGA's massive parallel computing capabilities, DSP processing and fast Thunderbolt connectivity. The library can be expanded to include effects of your choice from Antelope's online store.

Discrete preamp architecture
The Discrete 4 Synergy Core features unique 6-transistor discrete preamps for console-quality sound quality. The circuit is the result of careful study of the legendary mic preamps that have shaped the sound of countless records. We consider it a “modern classic”. It was designed for our Edge & Verge family of modeling condenser mics. Their features being perfectly complemented by the preamp design and Synergy Core technology, a new level of microphone recording is achieved.

With a dynamic range of up to 121 dB and sample rates of up to 192 kHz, our AD/DA converters ensure that your meticulous performances are captured with the best possible signal quality. Paired with a state-of-the-art preamplifier and our renowned clock technology, recording with the Discrete 4 Synergy Core makes your vocals and instruments sound lush, bold and expansive.

Unmatched connectivity
With abundant analog and digital connectivity, as well as USB and Thunderbolt ports for computer connection, the Discrete 4 Synergy Core offers more options than any DSP-equipped interface. Four mic inputs, four line outputs, a pair of monitor outputs, four headphone outputs and S/PDIF are at your disposal. Digital extension is possible via ADAT chaining. Additionally, a pair of Word Clock outputs lets you distribute the interface's highly stable clock signal throughout your studio.

Housed in a machined aluminum chassis, each unit is handcrafted in our European factory to strict standards, component selection and quality control. This type of attention to detail is usually reserved for premium products.
