The G2655 features a laminate maple body with a spruce block down the center, as well as Gretsch's new, high-output Broad'Tron pickups. According to Gretsch, these are "designed specifically for the Streamliner Collection" and offer "tighter bass response for robust lows, pristine highs, and a throaty midrange."
