"The modern high gain silicon fuzz Devi Ever FX Hyperion is what the Big Muff wanted but didn't become. It cuts through even a dense and loud live mix. It has divine sustain, full of harmonics. It's easy to set up and sounds great no matter what guitar, amp, or anything else you have on your pedalboard.

Hyperion is controlled with just two knobs and a TrueBypass footswitch. The Volume knob is very sensitive and has a wide range of gain: even at minimum you will get a fairly open sandy sound, increasing the gain will give you angry growling riffs, and at maximum there will be an insane octavia-style howl. More gain for God Gein!

The Control knob, as its name suggests, changes the intensity and character of the fuzz. Thanks to some modifications to the classic fuzz circuit, the Hyperion has more powerful and deeper bass compared to its analogues, as well as a cleaner fuzz sound, if the term "clean" is applicable to fuzz at all.

There are hundreds of vintage fuzzes, clones of vintage fuzzes, modified clones of vintage fuzzes, etc. in the world. And while the conservatives continue to clone and improve the Big Muff and Fuzz Face, more forward-thinking people are already starting to clone the Hyperion (and sell it for twice the price).
