YAMAHA A1000 NATURAL SOUND AMPLIFIER

Description

The A1000 was a top-end home audio amplifier from 1984. Its 28 pound sturdy chassis holds a switchable Class A/ Class AB power amplifier, several line level inputs, and 2 phono inputs. The Class A amplifier is perfect for low volume listening, and is available for power up to 10 watts per channel. The AUTO AB switch allows switching to Class AB for louder volume listening, up to 120 watts per channel. The first phono preamp (Phono 1) has a moving magnet/moving coil with 5 different impedance/capacitance selections to best match your turntable's cartridge. There are also 2 tape loops, and adjustable loudness contour. Made in Japan.
