The Ibanez SR500 bass features a slim, fast SR4 5-piece wenge and bubinga neck on a sculpted mahogany body. The rosewood fretboard is fitted with medium frets and has oval abalone markers. The Accu-Cast B20 bridge offers easier string changes, single-screw saddle and height adjustment, and improved stability. For pickups the Ibanez SR500 bass guitar features two Bartonlini MK1s which integrate perfectly with its active Bartolini MK1 3-band EQ. The Ibanez SR500 is a bass that will excel in any style of music.

The Ibanez SR500 electric bass features a mahogany body for rich warm lows and sweet sustain. The Ibanez SR4 Soundgear neck, only 20.5mm thick at the first fret, with a 34-inch scale length is thin, fast and strong. The bolted on All Access neck joint allows the easy access to the upper frets associated with set-in and neck thru joints. An ultra durable Ibanez Accu-Cast B20 bridge design offers easier string changes than any other bridge. Single screw saddle height adjustment offers better stability than standard double screw designs.
