He enjoys teaching a variety of styles, including country, blues, rock, and pop, and encourages his students to bring their own musical tastes to their lessons. Aaron welcomes students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced.

Andrew has played guitar for 40 years and has taught at Long & McQuade for over 25 years. His years of professional playing have given him a wealth of knowledge, which he continues to pass on to his long list of students. He makes sure his students have a great deal of input into their own lesson and tailors each student’s lesson with the individual in mind. Many of Andrew’s students have gone on to become teachers as well. Ranging from beginner to advanced, Andrew teaches many guitar styles such as acoustic fingerstyle, rock, jazz, and many advanced lead guitar techniques.

Bill started his drumming career in the Preston Scouthouse Band and made the transition to drumkit soon after. He completed his Professional Music Diploma in 1994 at Selkirk College in Nelson, BC with a major in both drum performance and audio engineering. He spent 20 years teaching full-time at MacAulay's Music and has had an extensive resume working with artists such as Trooper, Kenny Aronoff, The Tennesee Three and more. Bill specializes in rock drumming and also offers video lessons in recording and audio production. His lessons are tailored to each student and he is excited to inspire and help students of all ages meet their goals!

Chris has been balancing a music career of performance and teaching for more than 40 years. Starting at a young age, his piano studies included Royal Conservatory, alongside pop and jazz. He went on to study with numerous jazz piano instructors in Toronto, and graduated from the Humber College music program. He also studied accordion for 10 years. In teaching piano (and accordion) Chris maintains a focus on developing well rounded students, incorporating many musical styles, including improvisation. He is comfortable with all levels and all ages, and can assist students preparing for college or university music programs. Chris is also experienced in teaching music theory, as well as working with ensembles.

Soprano Christine Brandt was born in Kitchener, Ontario. She played the piano for 12 years before she began her studies in vocal performance at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, ON. While there she sang with the Maureen Forrester women’s choir where she had numerous opportunities for solo work. She received her Bachelor of Music in 2016 with a minor in psychology and has recently completed her Master's Degree at Mannes School of Music in New York City. Christine enjoys sharing her passion for music with others through teaching piano and voice lessons. She has worked with younger children to spark their interest in music through a music starters program. She has also worked with children’s choirs in her hometown of Kitchener.

Dan also has a background studying with the Royal Conservatory of Music. Dan has studied with multiple saxophonists, flutists and clarinetist privately in the past.

Shakoor is a violinist from Kingston who began studying violin at the age of six under the instruction of Denny Williams and Deborah McFarlane, at the Canta Arya School for Strings. He studied the Suzuki Method within private/group classes and with The Southern Ontario Suzuki Institute. Shakoor was Principal Second violin of Orchestra Kingston, and a second violin substitute at the Kingston Symphony Orchestra.

He's completed a Bachelor of Music and holds a Chamber Diploma from Wilfrid Laurier University, where he studied with Jerzy Kaplanek and Jeremy Bell.
