Ed. Science). He has taught, performed, recorded , written, produced, and toured nationally and internationally as a professional guitar player for over 30 years, performing with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, Junior Gone Wild, including multiple appearances at the Edmonton Folk Festival both as a singer/songwriter and as a sideman. His teaching approach is student centered, seeking to engage and retain student commitment to the instrument through student led pacing and personal choice in the material covered. Christian Malette studied at the Cégep de Saint-Laurent and at the University of Montréal in jazz performance and arranging for large big band type ensembles. Christian took his blues classes with the Quebec bluesman Bob Walsh, accompanying him for more than 10 years. His career has led him to participate in many festivals across Quebec and France. He also accompanied the rocker Marjo for 6 years. You can hear him on the two albums of Marjo and his men Vol 1 and 2.

Christian also has his own orchestra with which he performs as a singer and leader. Passionate about his art, he likes to share it with young and old!

Soprano Christine Brandt was born in Kitchener, Ontario. She played the piano for 12 years before she began her studies in vocal performance at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, ON. While there she sang with the Maureen Forrester women’s choir where she had numerous opportunities for solo work. She received her Bachelor of Music in 2016 with a minor in psychology and has recently completed her Master's Degree at Mannes School of Music in New York City. Christine enjoys sharing her passion for music with others through teaching piano and voice lessons. She has worked with younger children to spark their interest in music through a music starters program. She has also worked with children’s choirs in her hometown of Kitchener.

Cora Lockert began singing lessons at the Conservatory of Performing Arts at the age of seven years old, participating in their Juventus Choir program. Cora has obtained high levels of RCM. Cora has been trained in classical, opera and musical theater and also has experience singing pop, rock, and jazz. Cora has performed in many recitals, Regina Music Festival, and Auditioned Scholarships during her time at the Conservatory. Cora attended Balfour Collegiate and was accepted into the Balfour Arts Collective program for grades 11 and 12, where she was cast as Dragon in their production of Shrek the Musical. Cora has worked with children in the performing arts for a number of years, as a dance instructor, a volunteer and assistant for the performing arts camps at the Regina Conservatory, and currently working as an assistant for the Senior and Advanced Glee programs at the Conservatory. She also participates weekly in the Long & McQuade Rock Band program singing in three bands. Cora loves singing and music and can’t wait to pass along her love of music to others.
