I trained at Cégep de Drummondville, where I obtained a DEC (Diplôme d'Études Collégiales) in Music. This laid a solid foundation for my musical skills and my understanding of electric bass. I went on to pursue my musical passion at the Université de Sherbrooke, where I obtained a Bachelor of Music degree with a specialization in electric bass. This university experience enabled me to deepen my knowledge, explore new musical horizons and perfect my skills as a my skills as an electric bassist. My academic background in music has given me the technical and artistic skills necessary to excel in this demanding field. I acquired a solid understanding of music theory, a mastery of different musical styles and the ability to express myself creatively through the electric bass. Ayant commencé la musique à l’âge de 5 ans avec le piano classique, Thierry Du Sablon baigne dans un environnement musical depuis toujours. Il s’intéresse à la basse électrique à l’âge de 10 ans et décide très tôt dans son parcours au secondaire qu’il veut faire de la musique son métier. Diplômé en musique du Cégep de Ste-Foy en basse électrique jazz, il étudie maintenant au baccalauréat en interprétation jazz à l’Université Laval et joue régulièrement dans les bars, les restaurants et les salles de spectacle de la ville de Québec.

Même s’il est spécialisé dans le jazz, il s’intéresse tout de même à beaucoup d’autres styles de musique et est capable d’être très polyvalent avec des styles comme le rock, le rock progressif, le punk, le metal, etc. Entant qu’enseignant, son but est de donner l’envie de jouer de la musique à ses élèves. Au final, il veut faire en sorte que l’élève soit autant passionné de musique que lui.

Thomas Callow is an experienced musician who has studied and performed for 27 years, and specializes in classical voice and piano. His musical journey started at the age of 5 years old with his first piano lesson, and it quickly flourished from there. He had his first performance at the age of 6, and then continued growing his passion for music by performing in musicals, choirs, orchestras, jazz bands and vocal jazz groups. In high school he found an additional love for music composition. He composed multiple choral pieces for professional choirs across Victoria such as Vox Humana, Prima, University of Victoria Chamber Singers, and many others. Thomas’ journey continued with studying and honing his craft of classical singing and music composition at the University of Victoria. Thomas is a graduate from UBC with a Masters Degree in Music and an active performer and teacher in Vancouver. Previously, he studied at the UVIC (BMus) and VCM (Flute Pedagogy). Thomas has freelanced with Symphony 21, Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra, Victoria Symphony and Kamloops Symphony among others. As a passionate teacher, Thomas teaches students of all ages (7-85+), proving that it is never too late to pick up an instrument. He teaches beginners all the way to advanced levels. Born and raised in Regina, SK, Thomas Redant is thrilled to be working in the vibrant music and theatre community of the Greater Vancouver Area. As a pianist, Thomas has over two decades of experience ranging from RCM to musical theatre accompaniment and direction to simply gigging with whatever rock band needs a keyboard player. Vocal credits include Fiddler on the Roof (Tevye), City of Angels (Angel City 4 Baritone), 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Mitch Mahoney), Sunday in the Park with George (Boatman), Heathers: The Musical (Ram/Bill Sweeney), American Idiot: The Musical (Theo), and Godspell (Jeffrey), on top of having been in the original Cross Canada Barbershop Chorus and has toured with Saskatchewan Express. Tony Tucker ‎is a percussionist from St. John's, who started playing drum kit at the young age of 10, alongside his parents who played piano and organ in church. In the 90’s, Tony began studying world percussion; his primary focus being traditional Flamenco, West African, Middle-Eastern, and Latin percussion. Tony's passion for West African music led him to study with djembe masters Famoudou Konate, Mohamed Kalifa Kamara, Mamady Keita, & M'Bemba Bangoura. He performed with 5-piece drum ensemble Fola, specializing in Guinean percussion. In 1997, Tony joined the El Viento Flamenco, wherein he has perfected the integral and complex hand clapping. The group performed with many Canadian symphonies, the Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival, the Atlantic Festival of Lights, PEI’s Folk and Jazz Festival, The Atlantic Film Festival, and Ottawa International Chamber Music Festival. Tracey graduated with her Bachelor of Music from the University of Victoria in 2001 in harpsichord, majoring in Music History and Literature. Veronica Klock’s students play to learn, to learn to play! Classroom activities get students moving to help them understand not only what music is, but how it feels and how it works, so they can learn to create their own musical ideas from their very first lessons. Healthy playing techniques learned in this way help students protect against repetitive strain injury while allowing them to draw the most exquisite tone possible from the instrument. She encourages group learning opportunities to experience the joy of playing together while building ensemble skills that serve musicians not only in their musical journeys, but in their day-to-day lives as well. Veronica began playing at age three, performing at age four, and teaching at age 18. Having studied with Dr. Harald Zabrack, Dr. Terence Dawson, Dr. Dale Reubart, and Helen Silvester, Veronica completed her A.R.C.T. in 1994 and graduated from UBC in 1998.
