I went on to pursue my musical passion at the Université de Sherbrooke, where I obtained a Bachelor of Music degree with a specialization in electric bass. This university experience enabled me to deepen my knowledge, explore new musical horizons and perfect my skills as a my skills as an electric bassist. My academic background in music has given me the technical and artistic skills necessary to excel in this demanding field. I acquired a solid understanding of music theory, a mastery of different musical styles and the ability to express myself creatively through the electric bass. Ayant commencé la musique à l’âge de 5 ans avec le piano classique, Thierry Du Sablon baigne dans un environnement musical depuis toujours. Il s’intéresse à la basse électrique à l’âge de 10 ans et décide très tôt dans son parcours au secondaire qu’il veut faire de la musique son métier. Diplômé en musique du Cégep de Ste-Foy en basse électrique jazz, il étudie maintenant au baccalauréat en interprétation jazz à l’Université Laval et joue régulièrement dans les bars, les restaurants et les salles de spectacle de la ville de Québec.

Même s’il est spécialisé dans le jazz, il s’intéresse tout de même à beaucoup d’autres styles de musique et est capable d’être très polyvalent avec des styles comme le rock, le rock progressif, le punk, le metal, etc. Entant qu’enseignant, son but est de donner l’envie de jouer de la musique à ses élèves. Au final, il veut faire en sorte que l’élève soit autant passionné de musique que lui.

Thomas Callow is an experienced musician who has studied and performed for 27 years, and specializes in classical voice and piano. His musical journey started at the age of 5 years old with his first piano lesson, and it quickly flourished from there. He had his first performance at the age of 6, and then continued growing his passion for music by performing in musicals, choirs, orchestras, jazz bands and vocal jazz groups. In high school he found an additional love for music composition. He composed multiple choral pieces for professional choirs across Victoria such as Vox Humana, Prima, University of Victoria Chamber Singers, and many others. Tony Tucker ‎is a percussionist from St. John's, who started playing drum kit at the young age of 10, alongside his parents who played piano and organ in church. In the 90’s, Tony began studying world percussion; his primary focus being traditional Flamenco, West African, Middle-Eastern, and Latin percussion. Tony's passion for West African music led him to study with djembe masters Famoudou Konate, Mohamed Kalifa Kamara, Mamady Keita, & M'Bemba Bangoura. He performed with 5-piece drum ensemble Fola, specializing in Guinean percussion. In 1997, Tony joined the El Viento Flamenco, wherein he has perfected the integral and complex hand clapping. The group performed with many Canadian symphonies, the Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival, the Atlantic Festival of Lights, PEI’s Folk and Jazz Festival, The Atlantic Film Festival, and Ottawa International Chamber Music Festival.
