Anthony Kelly is a contemporary guitarist who is proficient in classical, flamenco, fusion, rock, metal and progressive styles of guitar, with over a decade of teaching and performance experience. Anthony studied at VCC in the Bachelor of Applied Music program as a classical guitar major and jazz/contemporary guitar minor. Anthony has also studied guitar under Canadian virtuoso guitarist and music producer, Dave Martone, where his primary focus has been in instrumental guitar in the style of Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, and fusion guitarist Greg Howe. Anthony is also influenced by bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Pantera, Polyphia, Tool, and Dream Theater.

Anthony is a versatile violin player and teacher who has toured with award-winning singer-songwriter Lennie Gallant and with roots-rock band Pogey. As a member of the neo-traditional trio Papilio, Anthony garnered ECMA and Nova Scotia Music Awards nominations. He is also a member of the popular Halifax band The Gig Dogs and has played with Symphony Nova Scotia, Anne Murray, and Peggy Seeger. As a music student at Dalhousie University, Anthony studied classical violin under Phillippe Djokic. He has won fiddle competitions throughout Canada, including the Maritime Fiddle Championship. In 1990 Anthony came third in the Canadian Open in Ontario, and he was chosen to represent Nova Scotia at the Grand Masters Competition in Ottawa for six consecutive years. He has been an adjudicator at the Kiwanis Festival and has been teaching since 1989. Anthony's rate per 30-minute private lesson is $27.

Aoife’s musical influence began at an early age in her family home. Being raised in Ireland in a
family with a heavy footing in Irish folk music and contemporary genres, Aoife’s experiences
created an eclectic ear. From Irish sing alongs to artists like The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Billie
Holiday and Bing Crosby, Aoife’s exposure to many styles influenced the musician she is today.
Now as a Mohawk College vocal graduate in Jazz/Contempory music, Aoife has built ten plus
years in her professional career ranging from teaching, songwriting, recording & releasing
music, performing with the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra and having a stage at festivals like

Archer Schick has shown a passion for music since a very early age. He began taking drum lessons at Long & McQuade at the age of six. After enrolling in the Rock Band program at Long & McQuade, he developed a love for performance. Archer graduated high school in 2024 where he was a part of his school’s concert and jazz bands. Now he is currently playing with three different bands, rehearsing every week and playing live shows often. He is well-versed in rock, metal, funk, Latin, and many other styles. Archer’s teaching methods focus on the interests of the student while encouraging creativity, and aim to develop proper technique, a good ear, an understanding of music theory, and a wide-ranging musical vocabulary. Barbara Lorenz moved to Calgary from Lloydminster, Alberta where she was Woodwind Instructor for Lakeland College teaching Saxophone, Flute, Clarinet, Oboe and Bassoon, as well as theory. She was also teaching Grade 6 band for the Lloydminster Public School Division. Barbara graduated from Dickinson State University with a Bachelor of Science in Music Education and a Bachelor of Arts.
Playing in Saxophone quartets, Jazz ensembles, and Concert Bands have been a large part of her musical career. She is currently very active, playing in a duo throughout the Calgary area.

Bill started his drumming career in the Preston Scouthouse Band and made the transition to drumkit soon after. He completed his Professional Music Diploma in 1994 at Selkirk College in Nelson, BC with a major in both drum performance and audio engineering. He spent 20 years teaching full-time at MacAulay's Music and has had an extensive resume working with artists such as Trooper, Kenny Aronoff, The Tennesee Three and more. Bill specializes in rock drumming and also offers video lessons in recording and audio production. He has played on and produced several Music Nova Scotia and ECMA nominated albums, as well as taking home an ECMA for 2022 Blues Recording of the year for Campbell and Johnston's Black Market Band of which he is one half of. He has appeared on stage with a number of acts such as Nathan Wiley, Blue Rodeo, Sam Roberts, Dutch Mason, Matt Mays, and Jill Barber, received a Juno during his tenure with “Johnny Favourite” and currently he plays regularly with “The Mellotones”, “The Metric System”, “Joe Murphy”, “The Hopping Penguins”, and hosts a long standing weekly blues jam at Bearly’s.
