A versatile singer and vocal coach for nearly 20 years, with a passion for vocal pedagogy and vocal research, I began a doctorate at UQAM, which led me to create my teaching approach called Embody-Voice, based on intention, the sensorimotor system, body awareness and vocal physiology. I have participated in various creative projects as a singer and composer. I've also had the pleasure of lecturing in instrumental didactics and coaching vocal jazz at UQAM's music department. I've been a coach for Cégeps en spectacle since 2023.
An artist at heart for as long as I can remember, my passion for singing began at a very young age. After learning various instruments, musical comedy, gospel and theater, I went on to study pop-jazz and classical singing at the Campus Notre-Dame de Foy, then at Université Laval, where I completed a double master's degree in instrumental didactics and classical singing interpretation, as well as a microprogram in Eutonie. Following this, I had the privilege of perfecting my singing skills at the Gnessin Academy in Moscow, Russia. Then I perfected my knowledge of somatic education and movement pedagogy by studying Feldenkrais, the Alexander Technique, Body-Mind Centering, and Dalcroze Rhythmics in Montreal and Toronto.
Whatever your age or level, I'll be happy to help you on your vocal journey. I'll follow your goals and adapt to your needs.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
