Emily, an RCM Grade 9 classical pianist and voice teacher from Halifax has been teaching for over a decade. Since graduating from Dalhousie University in 2005, Emily has been teaching classical piano and musical theater privately. Her teaching style balances technique and performance, ensuring her students are skilled and expressive whether they are learning RCM curriculum or pop songs. As well as teaching, Emily has worked as an accompanist (Halifax Dance, Ross Creek Centre for the Arts, Kiwansis Music Festival), performer (IDOW Festival , Grafton Street Dinner Theater, Two Planks and a Passion), and composer, releasing her debut album “Jump with Me,” in 2015. Emily has recently moved to Saint John after spending a year teaching musical theater in South Korea. Bassiste et contrebassiste professionnel, Emmanuel projette le registre grave avec une fougue et un intérêt sans cesse renouvelé depuis l'adolescence. Accompagner une chorale, rocker un bar, offrir une ambiance chaleureuse lors d'une célébration ou encore faire vibrer la foule lors d'un festival font partie de sa vie quotidienne depuis quelques années. Cette versatilité l'amène à explorer l'instrument dans plusieurs contextes et il recherche toujours de nouvelles pistes afin de peaufiner son approche. Présentement aux études au Bac en interprétation jazz à l'Université Laval, il étudie la contrebasse dans le but d'approfondir le style jazz, ses connaissances musicales et sa technique.

After graduating from Simon Fraser University with a BFA in music and teaching piano for several years, Emmett has developed an audiation-based method that emphasizes an embodied understanding of music through listening, movement and singing. In Emmett’s class students will develop the skills to improvise, create their own music, perform with confidence at the piano, and read and write music notation. His goal as a teacher is to provide students with a foundation for a life of music learning and enjoyment. Emmett offers one-on-one lessons, and classes for small groups. His rate is $30.

Eric Lam has a BMus, majoring in Composition and Theory from the University of Alberta and a Music Diploma from Grant MacEwan University. Eric has taught guitar for over 18+ years and he also teaches flute and cello. Eric teaches various genres of music, his students have consistently received outstanding results on RCM exams and even the golden medal.
As an active musician, composer and music arranger, he plays for various music events and concerts in various cities throughout western Canada. He has arranged/composed music for a radio station, TV program and local artists. In 2005, he attained the Best Music Arrangement Award from the Canadian Chinese Song-Writers Quest. His mission is to guide students to enjoy, discover and increase their musical knowledge. Eric is also fluent in English and Cantonese. Eric offers lessons at our Edmonton Mayfield location. Having graduated from the Music and Digital Media program at St. Lawrence College in 2013, he is a well-rounded electric guitar, and mandolin player. Eric has a true passion for teaching his students of all ages.

Eric is an experienced teacher and multi-instrumentalist who began music training at age 5 and began winning competitions at age 6. He has been involved with many groups that have received radio play, and has performed in other countries and large venues throughout Canada. His experience also includes studio recording and composing. Eric's years of teaching have enabled him to adapt to each individual and assist students in the way best suited to them, whether it's leisurely learning favorite songs or more intense personal skill development. Eric Ross is a professional bassist and guitarist who has 20 years of performing and teaching experience. He has taught individual guitar lessons and group classes through the Austin Live Music Academy at the University of Texas, and group guitar classes at MSCR in Madison, Wisconsin. He holds a Master’s degree in Jazz Performance from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Performance from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point.
Eric gives his students the tools they need to achieve their goals and to develop their own voice on the instrument. In addition to learning the fundamentals, he believes that it is important for his students to work on music that inspires them.

Erik is a pop, rock and jazz guitarist from Edmonton, Alberta. He has a music diploma with Performance Major from MacEwan University (2015) and has studied with accomplished guitarists Jim Head, Mo Lefever and Jamie Philp. Erik currently plays guitar and bass studio projects, live performances, and has done shows in a variety of venues across western Canada. He is also a song writer and composer. Erika Dauphinee is a classically trained musician with an ARCT from the Royal Conservatory of Music, specializing in voice, piano, and music theory. She studied jazz piano and musical theatre in university and has extensive experience in teaching Speech Level Singing, the Alexander Technique, and Contemporary Vocal Technique. Erika has performed with Alberta theatre companies, worked in the film industry, and sung with Pro Coro Canada. Her lessons are designed to be fun and engaging, enhancing students' communication, patience, and confidence. Erika customizes each lesson to match her students' goals and learning styles, often incorporating music-related games to keep classes enjoyable. Now living in Canada Esteban was born in Mexico City and began his musical formation very young. He holds a bachelor's degree in Jazz Music Performance and a bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences. He has 30 years of professional experience as a full-time musician and has performed, recorded and toured with artists all over North America, Latin America, and Europe. He has received numerous awards and grants and was nominated for a Juno in 2022 for Jazz Album of the Year (Group) for the album THE PROPHET by the Esteban Herrera Quintet. Étienne Fournier is a passionate guitarist and teacher who started playing guitar at the age of 8. Eva is an RCM piano program graduate with extensive education in piano, violin, flute, cello, and theory. Florence a reçu une formation de piano classique à l'âge de 8 ans à l'école Arthur-Vaillancourt. Ce n'est que quelques années plus tard qu'elle commence à chanter dans un band Pop Rock, ce qui lui donne la piqure pour la musique populaire. Diplômée d’un BACC en communication, elle choisit, à 26 ans, de réorienter sa carrière dans le domaine qui la passionne réellement : la musique. Elle est présentement aux études à temps plein en chant au collège Lionel-Groulx. Bien que Florence enseigne le piano et le chant depuis un an, elle a su perfectionner ses techniques d'enseignement à travers ses expériences passées, comme coach de ski de compétition et comme suppléante dans les écoles primaires. En 2023, elle lance son entreprise de services musicaux clé-en-main.

Gabriel Campos a commencé sa formation musicale dès son jeune âge grâce à l’influence de sa famille de musiciens. Il détient une technique professionnelle de musique et de chanson au Cégep de Drummondville et un baccalauréat en composition de musique à l’image à l’Université de Sherbrooke.
Tout au long de sa carrière d’interprète, il a fait partie de plusieurs ensembles en tant que guitariste (classique/électrique), bassiste, et même en tant que percussionniste. Ces groupes lui ont permis de se familiariser avec une grande variété de styles musicaux, en passant par le rock, le reggae, la musique populaire, le blues et beaucoup d’autres. Depuis 4 ans, Gabriel enseigne la guitare classique/électrique, la basse électrique, et le ukulélé.
