Dorian was born and raised in Halifax, NS. Dorian completed his Undergraduate Degree in Music from Mount Allison University, while simultaneously studying Clarinet Performance at The Boston Conservatory. Dorian later moved to Toronto where he completed his Masters Degree in Clarinet Performance from the University of Toronto. As an artist, Dorian has participated in masterclasses across North America and throughout Europe. He has worked with world-renowned artists from leading orchestras including the New York Philharmonic, Berlin Philharmonic, and Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Dorian has performed at numerous prestigious venues including Sanders Theatre at Harvard, CBC Studios, and Roy Thompson Hall in Toronto. At present, Dorian is engaged with the local music scene, where he serves as a member of the Board of Directors with the Chebucto Symphony Orchestra. Dorian is also the principal Clarinetist with the Chebucto Symphony Orchestra, and an on-call musician with Symphony Nova Scotia. Above all, Dorian remains passionately dedicated to his clarinet and saxophone students. His students are members of provincial ensembles, community orchestras, and are leaders within their own school music programs. His rate per 30-minute private lesson is $28.

Doug was a road band keyboardist in the days of his youth and later a restaurant pianist for the sake of his ears. He has been teaching piano in Kingston since 1998 and along the way picked up a Bachelor of Music from Queen's University. He enjoys playing and teaching in a broad range of styles including classical, jazz, pop, ragtime and anything in between, and has a knack for making lessons fun and easy for new students of all ages. He also composes in light classical and movie theme veins as well as the odd song. While studying for his music degree he was awarded the Maurice Dublin Memorial Prize in Composition. Doug's performance credits include a stint with five-time Juno Award winner Skip Prokop.

Dragana is an active musician and dedicated teacher for over 20 years to all levels and ages. She is the Principal Flutist with the Richmond Orchestra and Choir, and was the Principal Flutist with Sombor Philharmonic Orchestra (Serbia). She loves to explore different genres of music, having composed electronic music for video productions as well as playing folk music from the Balkan region. Dragana is also a Certified Early Childhood Music Educator promoting the Orff method of teaching music to young children through body movements, folk songs, rhymes, and playing a variety of percussion instruments. In addition to music, she holds a BA in Psychology and postgraduate studies in Body Psychotherapy with focus on bettering emotional expression in performing. Her rate is $32 per half hour.

Ekaterina started playing the cello at the age of 8. She became an award winning cellist at the young age of 14 when her trio won second place at the international chamber competition “Concertino Praga”. Ekaterina began her teaching career a year later when she was 15. Ekaterina completed her Bachelor’s degree in performance and music education from Belarus Academy of Music and Sarajevo Academy of Music, and went on to complete her Master’s Degree in performance and music education from Belarus Academy of Music. She also holds a Teacher Certificate of Recognition from RCM. Along with teaching, Ekaterina has performed with many orchestra’s such as the Belarus Symphony Orchestra, National Concert Orchestra, Sarajevo Symphony, and others.
