Ed Young has been a professional musician since 1979 and has been teaching percussion and guitar since 1984. He attended the University of Western Ontario, where he studied percussion with Bob Hughes. Ed is now playing all over Prince Edward Island with Phase 2 and the John Cain Duo as well as the Dennis Dunn Band. Ed has recorded over 30 albums with artists such as: Kelly Brock, Rusty McCarthy, Frank Deresti, and many others. Ed has performed coast to coast and all over the USA with artists such as: Bobby Taylor, Steve Strongman, Nigel Mack, Dawn Tyler Watson, and Rusty McCarthy. Finally, Ed is a published songwriter who had his songs recorded and featured on TV shows such as “Dawson’s Creek”, “The Surreal Gourmet”, and “From Spain With Love”. Ekaterina started playing the cello at the age of 8. She became an award winning cellist at the young age of 14 when her trio won second place at the international chamber competition “Concertino Praga”. Ekaterina began her teaching career a year later when she was 15. Ekaterina completed her Bachelor’s degree in performance and music education from Belarus Academy of Music and Sarajevo Academy of Music, and went on to complete her Master’s Degree in performance and music education from Belarus Academy of Music. She also holds a Teacher Certificate of Recognition from RCM. Along with teaching, Ekaterina has performed with many orchestra’s such as the Belarus Symphony Orchestra, National Concert Orchestra, Sarajevo Symphony, and others. Ekaterina has been living in New Brunswick since 2011 and has been teaching and performing in the Greater Moncton Area ever since. Elaine is a RCM certified teacher preparing students of all grades in violin, piano and theory examinations, music competitions and inspiring students in the enjoyment of music.  She is an active member of Ontario College of Teachers where she is licensed to teach students in various school boards across Ontario.  Furthermore, Elaine is a member of Ontario Registered Music Teachers' Association and Canadian Federation of Music Teachers' Associations which she is licensed to teach and mentor students, specializing in music, to work and earn a music credit as part of the school program. 

Elaine holds a Bachelor of Music Honours and post-graduate Diploma in Music Performance from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Education from Brock University in which she advanced her teaching license to teach students who are gifted and with special needs.  Moreover, Elaine holds a certification in Teaching Online Courses from RCM reflecting on effective teaching methods, strategies and resources used to inspire, teach, mentor and assess students to be a well-rounded musicianship in both practical and theoretical aspects, offered in group and/or private lessons setting virtually.  Every year, many of Elaine's students are winners of music competitions and obtain high results from RCM examinations.

Ellen MacPherson attended several Suzuki violin programs from the age of six, and pursued Suzuki Teacher training through the Suzuki Association of the Americas. She holds an active member of the SAA and does ongoing professional development through Suzuki institutes across North America. Ellen is passionate about Shinichi Suzuki's vision: that every child deserves an arts-rich education and the opportunity to study and play music, and that through the study of music children build noble character, self-esteem, and lifelong enrichment. Emily, an RCM Grade 9 classical pianist and voice teacher from Halifax has been teaching for over a decade. Since graduating from Dalhousie University in 2005, Emily has been teaching classical piano and musical theater privately. Her teaching style balances technique and performance, ensuring her students are skilled and expressive whether they are learning RCM curriculum or pop songs. Eric Ross is a professional bassist and guitarist who has 20 years of performing and teaching experience. He has taught individual guitar lessons and group classes through the Austin Live Music Academy at the University of Texas, and group guitar classes at MSCR in Madison, Wisconsin. He holds a Master’s degree in Jazz Performance from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Performance from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point.
