Ed Young has been a professional musician since 1979 and has been teaching percussion and guitar since 1984. He attended the University of Western Ontario, where he studied percussion with Bob Hughes. Ed is now playing all over Prince Edward Island with Phase 2 and the John Cain Duo as well as the Dennis Dunn Band. Ed has recorded over 30 albums with artists such as: Kelly Brock, Rusty McCarthy, Frank Deresti, and many others. Ed has performed coast to coast and all over the USA with artists such as: Bobby Taylor, Steve Strongman, Nigel Mack, Dawn Tyler Watson, and Rusty McCarthy. Finally, Ed is a published songwriter who had his songs recorded and featured on TV shows such as “Dawson’s Creek”, “The Surreal Gourmet”, and “From Spain With Love”. Eileen has always had a passion for music and has been playing and performing for over 23 years. As a classically trained flutist, Eileen completed her Grade Nine practical exam with the Royal Conservatory of Music before receiving her Bachelor of Music with a concentration in flute and voice from Trinity Western University. She studied under Dr. Paolo Bortolussi, and has a wealth of performance experience including jazz and classical band, orchestra, small ensemble, and solo performance. She performed with the Chilliwack Symphony orchestra, as well as the TWU band, orchestra, wind ensemble, and choir. She has served as a flute clinician, teacher, and music theory tutor. Eileen loves to help others discover and develop their own musical passion, and focuses on creating a learning experience specifically tailored to each student.

Ekaterina started playing the cello at the age of 8. She became an award winning cellist at the young age of 14 when her trio won second place at the international chamber competition “Concertino Praga”. Ekaterina began her teaching career a year later when she was 15. Ekaterina completed her Bachelor’s degree in performance and music education from Belarus Academy of Music and Sarajevo Academy of Music, and went on to complete her Master’s Degree in performance and music education from Belarus Academy of Music. She also holds a Teacher Certificate of Recognition from RCM. Along with teaching, Ekaterina has performed with many orchestra’s such as the Belarus Symphony Orchestra, National Concert Orchestra, Sarajevo Symphony, and others. Ekaterina has been living in New Brunswick since 2011 and has been teaching and performing in the Greater Moncton Area ever since. Elaine is a RCM certified teacher preparing students of all grades in violin, piano and theory examinations, music competitions and inspiring students in the enjoyment of music.  She is an active member of Ontario College of Teachers where she is licensed to teach students in various school boards across Ontario.  Furthermore, Elaine is a member of Ontario Registered Music Teachers' Association and Canadian Federation of Music Teachers' Associations which she is licensed to teach and mentor students, specializing in music, to work and earn a music credit as part of the school program.

Emily, an RCM Grade 9 classical pianist and voice teacher from Halifax has been teaching for over a decade. Since graduating from Dalhousie University in 2005, Emily has been teaching classical piano and musical theater privately. Her teaching style balances technique and performance, ensuring her students are skilled and expressive whether they are learning RCM curriculum or pop songs. As well as teaching, Emily has worked as an accompanist (Halifax Dance, Ross Creek Centre for the Arts, Kiwansis Music Festival), performer (IDOW Festival , Grafton Street Dinner Theater, Two Planks and a Passion), and composer, releasing her debut album “Jump with Me,” in 2015. Eric Gilson started his musical education at age three in the Suzuki Program. At age five he began classical piano lessons with the Royal Conservatory of Toronto. There Eric studied with Tadeusz Biernacki, the Conductor of Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet. At age 13 Eric started studying jazz with Earl MacDonald, the head of the music department at the University of Connecticut.
After graduating from Humber College’s performing arts program in 2003 having studied with Brian Dickinson, Eric began performing on cruise ships eventually becoming a musical Director aboard the Queen Elizabeth II performing on world cruises. During that time Eric had the opportunity to play for Prince Charles.
In 2010 Eric moved to Switzerland and performed for 10 years with such jazz greats as Richie Cole, Andy Scherrer and Banz Öester as well as the Basel Symphony Orchestra.
In 2015 Eric was invited by the Belgium Royal family to perform for the birthday of princess Delphine and 51 of the royal family including the king of Belgium.Eric was the Music Director for the musical Rent at La Scala in 2011 and again in 2015.From 2010-2020 Eric taught piano for the International School in Basel Switzerland, teaching classical and Jazz music.
As a teacher his main focus is to deliver personalized lessons to each student in a way that they enjoy and in an environment set up for them to thrive.

Eric has taught guitar for over 18+ years and he also teaches flute and cello. Eric teaches various genres of music, his students have consistently received outstanding results on RCM exams and even the golden medal.

As an active musician, composer and music arranger, he plays for various music events and concerts in various cities throughout western Canada. He has arranged/composed music for a radio station, TV program and local artists. In 2005, he attained the Best Music Arrangement Award from the Canadian Chinese Song-Writers Quest.
