Dave is a performer and educator of all things musical. He has toured Eastern Canada and parts of the U.S., performed at numerous venues, music festivals, theatre productions, conducted clinics and workshops, and has extensive experience in the recording studio. He spent four years on the music faculty at Mohawk College, and 12 years as a supply teacher for the Waterloo Region District School Board. He has served as an adjudicator for the Arts Education Project grant selection process with the Ontario Arts Council. Dave has been a keynote speaker for ETFO, and conducted motivational clinics in various institutions including a master class at Carleton University. Dave has taught privately for the last thirty-five plus years, is on staff at the Beckett School of Music at Wilfrid Laurier University, and is a paraprofessional for the Integrated Arts Program at Eastwood Collegiate in Kitchener. Dave holds a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Music in Performance from the University of Toronto, as well as a Diploma in Applied Music from Mohawk College. He is endorsed by Headhunters Drumsticks. Dave has studied with drummers Bob McLaren, Barry Elmes, Ernie Porthouse, John Cheeseman, and Memo Acevedo.

David was born in Cherbourg, France, and began playing guitar at the age of 14 under the influence of his first teacher, Daniel Cordhomme. At 16, he took Stéphane Fleury's jazz class and enrolled at the municipal music school with Fabrice Paris. After three years of classical guitar studies, he graduated with honors. Wishing to evolve musically, he moved to Paris to perfect his skills in the theory and practice of modern music at the American Jazz School, where he took guitar lessons with Mike O'Neil. The following year, he met Sammy Daussat, with whom he learned gypsy guitar. At the age of 27, he joined the class of Mariapina Roberti (international concert artist), who opened up new musical horizons for him, and with whom he organized a duo concert. David has also performed on Parisian stages such as the Café de Paris and the Chat Noir. His rate is $24 per half-hour for private lessons.

He also toured with Tabarruk in the 1990s through England, Scotland, and Wales and opened for reggae artist Burning Spear on their 1995 world tour.

Desirae started her musical journey like many children do around 6 years old in traditional private music lessons. Her first instrument of study was piano and soon doubled into voice. Beyond solo performances she moved into a leadership role running a youth choir where she first played music with other instrumentalists. Trained in classical piano and voice for 14 years, she was accepted to the Bachelor of Jazz and Contemporary Music program at MacEwan University and begun teaching privately in 2013. Her university adventures focused on Piano Composition and quickly inspired her to dive into other instruments. Today Desirae teaches Piano, Voice, Guitar, Ukulele, and Theory in a wide range of styles. She prefers to approach lessons with an environment of enjoyment while providing a healthy foundation to the student’s technical playing. Dhiego Costa was born in Brazil and has been playing piano for over 20 years. He attended the University of Manitoba on a full scholarship for the Master Degree in Jazz Piano program. While taking his master degree, he worked at U of M as a teacher assistant for the piano laboratory class (undergraduate students). He also holds a post baccalaureate degree in Music Education - Lato Sensu Graduate Program (Candido Mendes University - Rio de Janeiro - Brazil), Bachelor of Arts in Music (Piano) and Licensee in Music Education at the Federal University of Paraiba with “Academic Honours Distinction in Undergraduate Studies” - Brazil. Dhiego also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sacred Music (Baptist Theological Seminary of Northern Brazil). He was the pianist for the University choir (Federal University of Paraiba) for four years. He played for the UMJO (University of Manitoba Jazz Orchestra). He has travelled extensively and has played with Campbellsville University Jazz Orchestra (U.S.A), Brazilian Jazz Combo (U.S.A), Dhiego Jazz Trio (New Zealand), performed at the CPIT Jazz School (Christchurch - New Zealand), has led Brazilian music and Jazz Improvisation workshop in many places ( Dourados Music Festival - Mato Grosso do Sul). He has performed with Marco Castilo (Brazilian-Canadian artist) and his Brazilian Beats. Recently he played with the WJO (Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra). Dhiego has many years of teaching experience, and teaches all levels and all styles (Classical, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Gospel, Brazilian Music and Latin Music). Dominic is a legacy violinist, mastery of this instrument has been in his family for over 6 generations. His dad inspired a passion for the violin. Dominic has studied with Daniel Gervais for over 10 years, obtaining his level 6 in the Conservatory Canada repertoire and he fiddles too. Dominic has performed at the Jubilee Auditorium next to Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy.

Dominic's French-Canadian roots have encouraged this passion for the instrument and opened opportunities. He is an avid performer with a love for songwriting, and teaching. Dominic is accepting students for Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. His lesson rate is $28 per half hour.
