Il joue régulièrement avec différentes formations (trio jazz, big band, ensembles gospels, chorales, musique pop/rock, etc.) et est régulièrement engagé comme musicien de studio.

Depuis 1995, il enseigne la batterie au programme de musique du Campus Notre-Dame-de-Foy (niveau collégial) ainsi qu’en parascolaire à des élèves de tous âges. He has played in several local bands throughout the city, and is currently working on a solo guitar rock project. Dennon can offer both his guitar and bass students a wide range of material including basic chord progressions and scale positions and advanced virtuoso-esque styles. Desirae started her musical journey like many children do around 6 years old in traditional private music lessons. Her first instrument of study was piano and soon doubled into voice. Beyond solo performances she moved into a leadership role running a youth choir where she first played music with other instrumentalists. Trained in classical piano and voice for 14 years, she was accepted to the Bachelor of Jazz and Contemporary Music program at MacEwan University and begun teaching privately in 2013. Her university adventures focused on Piano Composition and quickly inspired her to dive into other instruments. Today Desirae teaches Piano, Voice, Guitar, Ukulele, and Theory in a wide range of styles. She prefers to approach lessons with an environment of enjoyment while providing a healthy foundation to the student’s technical playing. Regardless of your music goals, she is eager to help you explore different ways to learn your instrument(s) of choice.

Dhiego Costa was born in Brazil and has been playing piano for over 20 years. He attended the University of Manitoba on a full scholarship for the Master Degree in Jazz Piano program. While taking his master degree, he worked at U of M as a teacher assistant for the piano laboratory class (undergraduate students). He also holds a post baccalaureate degree in Music Education - Lato Sensu Graduate Program (Candido Mendes University - Rio de Janeiro - Brazil), Bachelor of Arts in Music (Piano) and Licensee in Music Education at the Federal University of Paraiba with “Academic Honours Distinction in Undergraduate Studies” - Brazil. Dhiego also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sacred Music (Baptist Theological Seminary of Northern Brazil). He was the pianist for the University choir (Federal University of Paraiba) for four years. He played for the UMJO (University of Manitoba Jazz Orchestra). He has travelled extensively and has played with Campbellsville University Jazz Orchestra (U.S.A), Brazilian Jazz Combo (U.S.A), Dhiego Jazz Trio (New Zealand), performed at the CPIT Jazz School (Christchurch - New Zealand), has led Brazilian music and Jazz Improvisation workshop in many places ( Dourados Music Festival - Mato Grosso do Sul). He has performed with Marco Castilo (Brazilian-Canadian artist) and his Brazilian Beats. Recently he played with the WJO (Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra). Dhiego has many years of teaching experience, and teaches all levels and all styles (Classical, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Gospel, Brazilian Music and Latin Music). Dhiego offers piano lessons at our Winnipeg (Pembina) location.

La violoncelliste d’origine bulgare Diliana Momtchilova est active en tant que soliste, pédagogue ainsi que chambriste et musicienne d’orchestre. Elle se produit régulièrement sur la scène européenne, américaine et canadienne. Elle s’est distinguée lors de nombreux concours et événements. Parmi ceux-ci, elle a été récipiendaire du Premier prix du Concours International de Washington et a aussi remporté le Concours du concerto de Haydn en ré majeur à la prestigieuse Julliard School of Music. Ce prix lui a donné l’occasion d’interpréter ce même concerto de Haydn sur un Stadivarius, accompagnée par le Julliard School Orchestra.

Durant ses années passées à New York, Mme Momtchilova a enseigné le violoncelle et la musique de chambre au Mannes College of Music (division de l’extension) et a performé au sein du célèbre Trio Alaria, lequel détient une série annuelle au Carnegie Weill Hall. Au sein de ce trio avec piano, elle a participé à de nombreux enregistrements acclamés par la critique. Elle détient une maîtrise et un doctorat de la Julliard School of Music pour lesquels elle a obtenu des bourses complètes et été sous la tutelle de Harvey Shapiro et Zara Nelsova.

En tant que musicienne orchestrale, Mme Momtchilova a travaillé au sein d’orchestres tels que l’Orchestre philarmonique de New York, l’Orchestre symphonique de Chicago, l’Orchestre symphonique et l’Opéra de Seattle, Le Royal Opera House de Londres et l’Orchestre symphonique de Vancouver. Elle est présentement titulaire d’un poste à l’Orchestre symphonique de Québec où elle habite présentement.

Dorian was born and raised in Halifax, NS. Dorian completed his Undergraduate Degree in Music from Mount Allison University, while simultaneously studying Clarinet Performance at The Boston Conservatory. Dorian later moved to Toronto where he completed his Masters Degree in Clarinet Performance from the University of Toronto. As an artist, Dorian has participated in masterclasses across North America and throughout Europe. He has worked with world-renowned artists from leading orchestras including the New York Philharmonic, Berlin Philharmonic, and Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Dorian has performed at numerous prestigious venues including Sanders Theatre at Harvard, CBC Studios, and Roy Thompson Hall in Toronto. At present, Dorian is engaged with the local music scene, where he serves as a member of the Board of Directors with the Chebucto Symphony Orchestra. Dorian is also the principal Clarinetist with the Chebucto Symphony Orchestra, and an on-call musician with Symphony Nova Scotia. Doug was a road band keyboardist in the days of his youth and later a restaurant pianist for the sake of his ears. He has been teaching piano in Kingston since 1998 and along the way picked up a Bachelor of Music from Queen's University. He enjoys playing and teaching in a broad range of styles including classical, jazz, pop, ragtime and anything in between, and has a knack for making lessons fun and easy for new students of all ages. She loves to explore different genres of music, having composed electronic music for video productions as well as playing folk music from the Balkan region. Dragana is also a Certified Early Childhood Music Educator promoting the Orff method of teaching music to young children through body movements, folk songs, rhymes, and playing a variety of percussion instruments.
