Colin studied music at Dalhousie and McGill Universities. In his career as chamber musician and orchestral cellist, Colin has played with L'Orchestre Symphonique de Laval, the Thunder Bay Symphony, the Kingston Symphony as acting principal cellist and soloist, at the Ottawa Valley Chamber Music Festival and 'New Music in New Places', and as guest performer for the Scotia Festival of Music. Colin has recorded for film scores, CBC radio broadcasts, and two CDs produced by New Music North and Gatto Dolce. He was cellist for the critically-acclaimed stage production The Satchmo Suite and is cellist for the duo Gatto Dolce. Colin's rate per 30-minute private lesson is $28.

He studied drums at Grant MacEwan University and has been a passionate student, creator and appreciator of music since age 8. Cora Cameron is an emerging artist/composer and honours graduate of Memorial University’s musicology program. Originally from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Cora is a multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter with a passion for creative exploration of musical styles and improvisational sound. Cora’s experiences have been eclectic, ranging from a variety of performances with orchestral ensembles as a principal cellist (MUN Chamber Orchestra, HRASO, Maritime Conservatory Orchestra, Maritime Conservatory Baroque Ensemble) to choral singing (MUN Festival Choir), musical theatre productions (TaDa, Neptune YPCO, St. Luke’s Community Players), and sharing original works and jazz arrangements as the vocalist of Orchid Duo. With 10+ years of performance experience, Cora is eager to begin her journey in education and go beyond the books with philosophies she has developed in her own studies. Cora Lockert began singing lessons at the Conservatory of Performing Arts at the age of seven years old, participating in their Juventus Choir program. Cora has obtained high levels of RCM. Cora has been trained in classical, opera and musical theater and also has experience singing pop, rock, and jazz. Cora has performed in many recitals, Regina Music Festival, and Auditioned Scholarships during her time at the Conservatory. Cora attended Balfour Collegiate and was accepted into the Balfour Arts Collective program for grades 11 and 12, where she was cast as Dragon in their production of Shrek the Musical. Cora has worked with children in the performing arts for a number of years, as a dance instructor, a volunteer and assistant for the performing arts camps at the Regina Conservatory, and currently working as an assistant for the Senior and Advanced Glee programs at the Conservatory. She also participates weekly in the Long & McQuade Rock Band program singing in three bands. Cora loves singing and music and can’t wait to pass along her love of music to others. Cora teaches voice lessons online and at the Regina store. Her rate is $25 per half-hour.

Craig Doll is a professional freelance drummer and educator hailing from Edmonton, Alberta. From about the age of 8, Craig has been completely in love with playing the drums and that love has only deepened with time. With over 20 years experience playing the drums Craig has played many live shows from jazz, pop, rock, country, punk, folk, alternative, funk, and metal. Craig prides himself on always being a student of the drums and to never stop learning or improving. This philosophy has led him to study with the great’s: L.A. based drummer, Dave Elitch and New York based drummer, Carter McLean.

Cristina studied music at the University of Ottawa, and has been teaching piano, acting and movement since 2004 to both children and adults. She recently completed a Master’s degree in Theatre and Performance Studies. Cristina specializes in creating individually tailored lessons for pianists and performers, and her passion lies in creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment to help students play and sing with ease and confidence. Lessons are available in English, French and Italian, and are $27 per 30 minutes.

Curtis has been teaching since 2008 in a variety of genres including rock, pop, R&B and metal. He has released two solo albums that charted highly on CBC and college radio throughout Canada, and was the musical director for several plays including the University of Alberta's production of Tom Waits' “The Black Rider.” He has performed with many prominent artists such as George Clinton, Parliament/Funkadelic, Cadence Weapon and Bill Bourne. Curtis teaches at our Edmonton Highlands location.

Daisy Tam holds a Master of Arts in Music Theory and a Bachelor of Arts Honors Specialization in Music from The University of Western Ontario. In addition, she holds an ARCT Diploma in Piano Performance from The Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM). Daisy is an RCM certified teacher in Markham for lessons in piano, theory, harmony, and music history and is a member of the RCM College of Examiners as a theory examiner. She has guided students to achieve outstanding examination results and recognitions, including the RCM National Gold Medal for Excellence in Theory. She is also dedicated to mentoring her students and leading them through transformative learning experiences.

Damien has been teaching music since 1997.He is an author, composer, arranger, musician and music publisher. He studied at the Conservatoire de Saintes, France, and has graduated from The Music Academy International de Nancy (Partner with Berkley Music College). Damien was an Ibanez guitar instructor in France for 13 years and an entry examiner for the Music Academy International de Nancy. Damien has played with a finalist participant of the French version of The Voice, has toured in Europe, Newfoundland and St Pierre with several pop rock bands, performed in rock operas and wrote and performed for A CBC documentary. Danika est une jeune corniste qui a débuté son parcours musical il y a quelques années dans le programme de formation musicale intensive de la Polyvalente Sainte-Thérèse. Elle eut un coup de foudre instantané pour le cor français, instrument qui occupe aujourd’hui une partie importante de sa vie. Elle a poursuivi ses études dans le programme de musique classique du Cégep Saint-Laurent, où elle a pu développer ses connaissances en théorie musicale, ainsi que la maîtrise de son instrument auprès de Jocelyn Veilleux. Au fil de ses années d'études, Danika s’est investie au sein de nombreux orchestres et organismes. Elle est membre depuis quelques années de l’Orchestre à vents de musiques de films et de l’Harmonie Omnigamme. Danika désire à son tour partager sa passion pour cet art autour d’elle. C’est d’ailleurs pour cette raison qu’elle s’adonne désormais à l’enseignement de la musique chez Long & McQuade!
