The Easy Concert Pieces series presents musically and technically manageable pieces for clarinet and piano in progressive order. These pieces are intended to complete clarinet tutorial methods and are particularly suitable for performance at music schools, competitions and examinations. The selection of repertoire is wide, offering a broad range of pieces from the Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Modern eras - original works and arrangements, too.

Volume 2 contains pieces where the clarinet part goes as high as high C, though without requiring use of the register above that note. Volume 2 of Easy Concert Pieces presents rather more demanding rhythms, articulation and phrasing than Volume 1. The pieces selected will encourage players to develop melodic shaping and dynamic shading, along with the inclusion of various ornaments.
