Really solid and well built, battery lasts a long time, very easy Bluetooth connection that was able to take multiple Bluetooth inputs simultaneously (I don't know if that's normal, but all my other Bluetooth devices disconnect a device if another is connected).
Contrary to another review, you CAN adjust how much of the reverb/delay effect is audible in each channel, the dial knob labeled "effects" on each channel increases or decreases the effect mix.
Sound quality is excellent, very clear highs, decent amount of low end, lots of volume if needed but also sounds good at low volume. I suspect the complaint of static sound is the EMF from other electronics affecting the Bluetooth, or noisy household circuits, and not an inherent flaw in this speaker, when used outside with devices a suitable distance away it is very clean.
Its small size is a huge bonus; very easy to take with you, unlike even many small amps. Grab handle built into the cabinet is perfectly engineered; these small details matter.
I used this for a backyard function involving some speeches AND some music, it's powerful enough to fill a fairly large, crowded yard with sound. I'd prefer if it had a bit more eq like bass/mid/treble adjustments but I was able to find tone that sounded good, and that would make it cost more and more components that can get worn or dirty over time.
Debating whether I have enough prospect of using it to make it worth purchasing rather than renting; it does seem a bit pricey, but then again, it's not made in China, it's made in Canada, to the expected high standards of Yorkville sound. Every other Yorkville/Traynor amp I've had has been flawless over a very long time, not true of any others I've had. It's so slick and good I may just buy it even though I'm not regularly gigging or needing portable sound.

I saw a review about odor and thought maybe a 1 off. Mine had such a strong odor I could smell it in my trunk when I closed the windows. I came home, sprayed them with febreeze and put a fan on them all night. Then I washed the cabinets down today with window cleaner. The fan has been running on them since last night. The smell is finally subsiding. I was worried but not anymore

I've been using Bose S1's for many years. Last week I added 2 of the Yorkville EXM subs. I was amazed at how little battery I used and after 4 hrs only took 40 mins to charge. I sold my Bose Sunday night after a gig and ordered 2 of these. Testing today. They sound great. The Bose had a bit more clarity but these have more overall power. I split a gig Saturday with other musicians and we had to use a mixing board. With 2 of these chained it won't be needed. I haul my gear on a big cart. With these I am back to loading all my gear in 1 trip. That is a huge difference... I just ordered the backpacks too $70 each? wow. Bose ones were $250 each. The reverb is very nice. I have all my stuff going through something else before it gets to the speakers so I don't need it, but it sounds much nicer than my mixing board fx (which the others guys needed and it's a fairly regular gig). once I dial in the shape thing (no eq) it should be fine and really after 7 yrs of hearing the Bose my ears might just be accustomed to their sound. Still really happy with the sound

I has great sound for what I use it for, however, the smell it gives off is overwhelming. I thought the smell would burn off after a couple hours of being plugged in, but its been 2 weeks now. My wife wont let it in the house. It has to live in the back of the garage. It doesn't do me any good out there. I love the sound, but its useless to me.

I am using this with a mic and my ukulele plugged in for my ukulele class in a small gymnasium. The mic sound is good as well as the uke plugged in. Everyone can hear me to play along. It runs a long time on a battery charge. The reverb adds to the quality sound. It is very quiet. A bonus is that I can leave it in my locker at the building.

I really like the EXM Mobile speakers. They are very well built and feel really solid, using nice quality materials. Performance wise, they have nice clear mids and highs, with a good amount of bass. They also get surprisingly loud, especially for the 60 Watt power rating. They are certainly not cheap, however I firmly believe that you are getting what you pay for. I highly recommend these speakers for anyone looking for a great sounding portable battery powered speaker!!

On battery or plugged in with nothing in the inputs, there is a static sound, and it's quite noticeable. The higher the volume, the higher the static sound. This is a $750 ish speaker with tax, but a $200 Line 6 FRFR amp has 0 static at all. Just saying, it's annoying. I am renting this at the moment. Will try another identical unit first. If it still persists. I will go back to a Line 6 Spider V MkII amp, or try another PS speaker.

Very impressed with this unit, with the ease of Bluetooth, to having three dedicated lines(two quarter/XLR and one XLR). I’ve rented it for two months to get a feel for its capabilities and the broadcast is superb.
I mounted it on a speaker stand and ran one wired mic and my setup, which consists of a wireless headset and wireless guitar setup, which run wired to the MOBILE or thru my Fishman Loudbox Mini, providing me with a monitor and then to the mix. Two MOBILES would give you even more front end, more inputs and the portability is amazing.
The EQ, which serves a purpose but doesn’t really add much flexibility to the sound, is okay. Also the built-in effects, two reverbs and one delay, are all or none. You either have reverb or delay on all, or none, no individual mix.
Having said that, for the price, this is an incredible deal, considering it’s applications.

Protect your investment with the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty
A warranty can be a very important factor when making a buying decision. Because repairs can be very expensive in terms of parts and labour costs, manufacturers usually only provide one year limited warranties that generally only cover items that malfunction due to a manufacturer’s defect. With an important purchase such as a musical
instrument or piece of studio gear, however, many people want to have the peace of mind in knowing that their investment will be protected should the product no longer be performing at 100%.
Because of this, Long & McQuade provides our customers with a FREE one-year Performance Warranty on most of our products. The Long & McQuade Performance Warranty supplements the manufacturer’s warranty to ensure that our customers receive complete “no hassle” warranty coverage within their first year.
How does the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty differ from most manufacturers' warranties?
Performance Guarantee: Normal wear and tear is covered, so your product will be performing as well as the day you purchased it for the entire duration of the coverage. Band and Orchestral Performance Warranty does not include replacing pads or cleaning for woodwind instruments, unless deemed necessary by our repair staff. Ultrasonic cleaning for brass instruments will be provided if deemed necessary by our repair staff, but is not routinely offered under the Performance Warranty.
Product Replacement: If your product cannot be fixed or costs too much to fix, we will replace it with the equivalent model for no additional charge. If this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
No Lemon Policy: Your product will be replaced should the same problem occur multiple times.
Convenient: Easy drop off and pick up of the product at any Long & McQuade location.
Guitar Setup: Guitars purchased at Long & McQuade come with 1 free setup, to be redeemed within 1 year for new guitars and 90 days for used guitars.
Loaners Available: A loaner product may be given while the product is being repaired.
Power Surge Protection: Your product is covered even if damaged from a power surge.
Accessory Coverage: Any peripheral devices or accessories that come with your product (i.e. foot pedal, case) are also covered.
Commercial Use Coverage: Music and recording professionals who purchase gear for “heavy-use” commercial purposes will still be covered.
Long & McQuade reserves the right to restrict the purchase of additional years of Performance Warranty. Used products come with a 3-month Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Some products (i.e. computers, software, cymbals and other items) are covered only by the manufacturer‘s warranty. Consumables (i.e. strings, reeds, drum sticks, batteries, tubes, cross faders) are excluded as they are designed to be replaced. Cosmetic Damage, Accidental Damage, or problems caused by Humidity or Temperature Issues are not covered. Speakers damaged by overpowering are generally not covered. Our coverage does not provide compensation for loss of use. As of June 2018 the Performance Warranty is no longer transferable. The warranty is only valid in Canada.
Purchasing additional years of coverage
Some manufacturers provide warranties for longer than 1 year; however, these are usually limited warranties that do not provide the same coverage as the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Customers interested in more complete and convenient (but not necessarily longer) coverage are still able to purchase additional years of the Performance Warranty.
If you are interested in receiving this coverage for longer than one year, you have the option of purchasing additional years of the Performance Warranty. The pricing is as follows:
NEW products: Starting at 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. Starting at 4% for each additional year.
USED products: Starting at 4% of the current new selling price to increase the warranty from 3 months to 1 year. Starting at 4% for each additional year.
GUITARS: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year. $45 maximum. An additional free setup is not included with additional purchased years of Performance Warranty.
BAND and ORCHESTRAL instruments: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
