Our second generation banjo pickup features a quiet humbucking coil, a powerful neodymium magnet assembly and a specially designed preamp to strengthen and preserve the natural sound of the banjo. Fits dual coordinator rod instruments and may be modified to fit single rod banjos. Professional installation is recommended.

I could not rely on this pickup. I used up about 4 pickups It kept breaking down . After while I lost bookings. A luthier installed a new plugin jack and demagnifieid the pickup. I had to send it to the factory. They replaced the pickup for a price . I phoned another banjo player , who had the same experince . He said he gave up and went passive pickup and had no trouble. Did not lose quality of sound due to the sound people , I did the same.
