TWO SOUND SETTINGS
Two pairs of ear pads are included as standard in order to achieve the ideal sound characteristic depending on the application in question. A pair of velour ear pads provide an open sound and are perfect for mixing and mastering. A pair of leatherette ear pads provide a more closed sound making the headphones more well suited to monitoring applications.

Great pair of headphones, have had them for over 2 years now. Never heard quality like this in a pair of headphones. With the pricing being so high, if you're looking at these for your next purchase but don't have studio monitors, these cost just as much a pair of Yamaha HS8s. If you already have decent headphones, get monitor speakers because they're better for mixing, mastering & fatigue your ears way less than headphones directly pumping into your ears.
With that being said, if you do have monitor speakers already, these headphones are great for designing & mixing low-end sub-bass sounds, mixing + polishing vocals & mastering fully completed tracks.
