Cape Verdean Blues by Horace Silver and arranged by Tom Boras is now available. This was commissioned by the Buddy Rich Big Band in 1977. A great Samba with a Trumpet and Bari. soloist sections. (Mainly a solo Trumpet feature) Also features your Bari, 2nd Trom. and Trpt. in nice trio lines. A few high E's, F's and two high G's for your lead Trumpet. Wonderful writing...your band will love this.
