The Dual-Lock Strap Lock provides a low-cost alternative to strap security for additional instrument protection. Without need of modification, the Dual-Lock clips onto your existing strap button to prevent your strap from releasing accidentally. Additionally, the Dual-Lock can be clipped onto your instrument cable, securing your cable to your instrument to prevent the plug from being pulled unintentionally from the input jack.

I found these to be a nice alternative to expensive metal strap locks. Once you get used to the way these attach, they are literally a snap. They hold tight and will not damage the straps or guitar. Great product!

Hi,
I bought some of the (official name) D'Addario Planet Waves Dual-Lock Strap Locks in my search for effective strap-blocks (despite the name, these are more strap-blocks, not strap-locks).
For various reasons I did not want 'traditional' strap-locks. Chief among these reasons was that I did not want to have to have to mod my guitar in any way, or have part of the strap-lock attached to my strap.
The rubber washers from Grolsch beer bottles work perfectly on my MIM Strats, but neither the washers nor the Lock-It Guitar straps would fit onto the strap lug on my Casino (too little room between the strap lug and the body).
However, I managed to squeeze on the Dual-Lock strap locks onto the Casino, and it works perfectly. Ironically, I was able to pull the Dual-Lock off my Strats when I tried it on them, hence the 4 star rating here.
Overall, though, a very easy to install and easy to remove product, well worth the price.
