I have a # of distortion and fuzz pedals, including Boss, and I prefer this one in many respects. I find Boss pedals lack warmth. I like the more vintage distortion sound qualities of this pedal. It's made of some serious metal, so it's very durable. Being on sale too, you can't beat the price.

This is a good pedal built of steal and is way better than most Danelectro pedals. Great tones out it, But its no Boss pedal.
