Los Cabos Drumsticks Multi Stick 3A Tip/Mallet End
A 3A maple drumsticks with Timpani mallet attached to the butt end for a full sound. This makes for rapid changes when mallet work is mixed with regular drumstick playing.

I saw this at a clearance sale at Richmond L&M, in hopes that it's better than VF Dualtones, and i liked 3A Sizes.
After messing around on the practice pad, I took it to my school's charity concert where I played both snare, cymbal & toms for my concert band. It performed as it should until the mallet core shattered into pieces. Took me by surprise, I scrambled along the stage looking for mallets.
I can see the product being quite well for... Well, no one. Indeed it is quite cheap but the mallets are too hard for timpani or cymbal & the fact that it broke during a gig, kinda makes it look like a scandal. Quelle horreur!!
I will stick to Los Cabos red hickory sticks for its incredible durability, but as for these multi-sticks, i would recommend a HUGE PASS!!
