The only stick I use. Perfect balance between quality & price. The people that make these sticks are great people as well, so it's nice to support that energy. I smash my drums and these only break if my technique is horrendous. 10/10.

I've been playing Los Cabos for over 15 years now and love having the option of Maple, White Hickory and Red Hickory. I use all three woods for different applications. 3A Hickory is my "Go To" for Rock, Blues and Country gigs. I use the Red Hickory for heavier gigs and practice and the Maple for easier listening type music or lower volume gigs.

Los Cabos' sticks are great, and the 5A Hickory are the perfect all-around sticks.
They're light yet durable and solid. I tend to switch sticks depending on what kind of music I'm playing, but always carry these with me as a default.

Personally I found out about Los Cabos drumsticks from the online Long n Mcquaid website. I reviewed the comments on the different types of models offered. Now I chose the 5A "Black" drumstick version. Being on a budget restrictions I needed a cheap drumstick that had some longevity with it. Well I found it! At 47 years old and I am 5ft 9inch and at 135lbs I am not considered a big man. No Vinnie Paul Abbott and not Tommy Lee. I am more compatible with say Eric Singer or Terry Bozzio size comparison. I do hit hard but also have some finesse as well. The version I bought was cheap and YES I was hesitant but needed a drumstick either way. I can say only GREAT things about the company and it's product that I own. I WILL continue to be a supporter and customer from here on out. Keep in mind I've been playing drums for many many years and tried all of the TOP DRUMSTICK MANUFACTURERS! Yes you all know who I am talking about. Yes they were good but as far as price and usability and toughness Los Cabos have certainly done exactly what I asked of them. I have no complaints about the model I chose and.the company that I never knew before, but I WILL support them and.tell everyone to find a model that works for.you! They have so many like other companies do but I found mine and hopefully you will too! Price, durability, functionality and the color matched my drumkit! I certainly couldn't ask for more! Los Cabos company and it's employees, I say a great thank you for your product in a very competitive industry and industry products! Sincerely Todd Scully, not a paid spokesperson or free product endorser! Just a very happy customer!

Personally I heard of Los Cabos from online descriptions from Long n Mcquaid. Now I have tried every drumstick from the Major Big Companies...(You all know who I am talking about). I am not a big person but at 47 years old and trying out all other brands I was in need of a cheaper drumstick due to budget restrictions, however the 5A "Black" drumstick color at $10.00 was clearly the best choice to make. Now hesitation YES but once I got on my drums these drumsticks REALLY impressed me. They are strong, yet lightweight. Keep in mind that at 47 and 135lbs being 5ft 9inch I am not a big person like a Vinny Paul or tall like a Tomny Lee. Im more sizable comparison to a Eric Singer body type. Now with that in mind I still haven't broken my first pair. I do hit hard but have learned finesse so when these sticks inevitably break like all do in time, I highly recommend them to anyone who is similar to me and my attributes. Los Cabos has made me a true believer that even a cheaply priced drumstick CAN last! I would say that there is alot of different types of models offered and tey to pick what weight works for you plus the lenght. I recommend them and I Will be purchasing them again. Hope my review helps people out from a fellow drummer to another $10.00 is one great BANG for your $10.00 dollars! Todd-

I've tried the 5b and 2b sticks before with good results. I picked these up on the feel and man, these are my new sticks! Everything is great, good balance, feel and sound. The wood tips are indestructible. I put them through my test and they passed with flying colours.
