Decent quality for the price. The skin on mine was quite thick and difficult to play at first, but as with most non-custom drums, some tlc (a bit of sanding and some moisturizing) was needed to bring this to life, at least to the way I like them. The tuning system works great (similar to traditional tuneable Bodhrans) and the frame projects well. Adding a few vinyl tape rings on the skin to reduce some overtones really lets this thing talk. Great deal for the quality. Recommended for any level of playing. Great work Meinl.
