Can't be more happy with this purchase! received it very well packaged I was amazed at how well protected this was. The speaker is very light! that was a huge surprise, it's lighter than the stock Fender speaker (also made by Eminence). I searched for many months before deciding for this speaker. Even though there is not 1 bad review of this speaker out there, I was a bit dubious as I'm a bit of a tone snob and very used to alnico speakers. This speaker is even better than I expected. It took all the shrillness away from the sound and projects a well balanced Fender sound and taming the highs as expected. Makes my amp sound close to a vintage Fender or a good boutique one.

I have this speaker in my new Fender FSR 65 tweed Princeton Reverb amp.
I played it against the same amp with Jensen speaker. The Eminence CR is definately warmer, fuller, and more articulate. There's no "boomy" bass snd the mids and highs are crystal clear. Just what i wanted for a jazz tone... not too dark for blues or rock. Very pleasd😊!

I was not fully satisfied with the Italian Jensen P10Q that came with my PRRI Fudge Brownie. It was not a bad speaker per see, but for me just too chimey and breaking easily for my taste. Probably better for blues or rock, less for classic jazz; I wanted more efficiency.
At first, I was shopping for the Lil Buddy until I realized Eminence had just released a slightly more efficient Cannabis Rex in a 10 incher.
Now both my Gibson archtops and my tele get a nice dark smokey tone with tamed highs without compromising on note definition.
A cheap alternative to make your PRRI sounds louder and fuller

Slapped one of these into my blues junior 4 and it took it up a notch. Nice and smokey sounding. Love it.
