Sierra Music Publications Et Si C'Etait La Fin - Metheny/Curnow - Jazz Ensemble - Gr. Medium
Additional Photos:
Composer: Pat Metheny
Arranger: Bob Curnow
Format: Score and Parts
Instrumentation: Jazz Ensemble (5-4-4-4)
Style: Fusion/Swing
Solos: Alto, Trumpet (Flugelhorn)
Level: Medium
Bob Curnow continues to add the music of Pat Metheny to the Sierra Music catalogue with another of Pat's unforgettable melodies, "Et Si C'Etait La Fin" (originally recorded on the album Secret Story). Set in a contemporary pop/swing feel, this arrangement makes a wonderful contrast to any program. Playable by most bands, there are very reasonable brass ranges (highest note for trumpet is a written D), no woodwind doubles, and the rhythm parts are all written out. There is solo space for alto saxophone and trumpet.
