I put these on my floyd rose equipped guitar months ago and they still sound great! I am a rather aggressive player, and play styles like thrash, speed thrash, and any kind of metal really. I also play clean though. I can bend them as far as i want, and hammer on floyd, yet they just dont break! They also feel really smooth. Not sure they are worh double if you dont have a floating trem, but if you do, and you want strings that wont break without sacrificing tone get these! They last longer and sound better than d'addario xl strings.

THEY JUST DON’T BREAK! I put these strings on my esp and even when I bent the strings and pulled the floyd it just wouldn’t break. Very expensive though

So these strings do sound/feel/play nice (not sure if its $10 nicer than regular strings) but the warranty bit is a waste of time. Do not buy these if your intention is to use the warranty. They ask you to print forms, mail in the strings + original packaging + original receipt, then you have to wait while they evaluate your claim and send you new strings
Just buy regular Ernie Balls. Don't waste your time with trying to get them to honour the warranty

At $20 they are on the expensive side of strings, with that being said...they do sound exceptional good (to the trained ear)
seeing as they last 2-4x longer than your regular slink's I'd say the value is decent. especially for Floating tremolo guitars.
on a side note, they are CRAZY smooth on the 3 thinner strings, not quite as crazy as the Conspiracy theory that HAARP has an earthquake pointed at California...but still exceptionally crazy smooth. almost coated feeling.

They feel and sound like plain old slinkies. Yes they are hard to break but if you are constantly snapping strings it is probably your technique or your guitar that is the issue not the strings.
