Answer: It does not have a truss rod. Most ukuleles don't have truss rods.

I love this little baritone!
BeaverCreek has done themselves proud! The only thing they could do to make it better would be to put in a truss rod?
Our budget is pretty tight so my husband bought me what we could afford and I am glad that this was it! It’s not fancy but it’s got a lovely tone and the sustain isn’t too shabby either! I would easily buy another BeaverCreek instrument!

I'm not a pro uke or guitar player and bought this as an auxilliary instrument for occasional compositional work. It's great for the price, stays in tune, and very handy to have built-in electronics for recording or to use with effects pedals. I replaced the strings (forgot what brand) and I think it sounds a lot better. I don't have other ukuleles except for a Kala U-Bass, so can't really speak about comparisons to other baritones. It's good enough for my use, and I know that acoustic instruments in general develop and change in tone over time as you play it more.
The battery compartment lid broke last year, and a few months ago I emailed Daddario (who owns Beaver Creek), who immediately sent a replacement battery holder, free of charge, no questions asked. So, stellar service on that front.
