Not many reviews on Sabian splash cymbals here so I figured after a few months of use I'd better write up a review.
I tried this out at L&M Langley and was immediately impressed by the brightness and immediate wash this splash portrayed. I took a chance on it and have now had it on rotation through a few gigs and have been more than happy with this cymbal.
It is not overly bright, nor metallic sounding like other heavy splashes I have played; for example the Meinl classics custom series splashes. This is the perfect splash for a drummer looking for quick shot accents, but can also be rode on. Durability has yet to tested but we will see over time!
Only drawback in my opinion is the price... 174$ for a 10" splash in my opinion is steep.
