This Italian song, known in the English version as 'Time to say goodbye', has been made famous by the blind Italian (Toscan) tenor Andrea Bocelli. The latter was introduced to the international musical scene by the famous singer Luciano Pavarotti after the illustrious tenor had heard Bocelli singing Zuchhe- ro's 'Miserere'. The song, closely related to the style of an Italian opera aria, became even more famous thanks to Sarah Brightman's version. Willy Hautvast made a fine a sounding arrangement for symphonic band.
