These are hands-down the best strings for bass. Light-gauge strings save your neck in our dry winters, are easy on the fingers, and have amazing tone. Stainless steel are the best for cutting through, and to give you bright highs that can be tamed with your tone knob if necessary. With flexibility thanks to a round core, these feel incredible and don't eat your frets so long as you work on not having a death-grip. The price is a little high compared to some online retailers, but they're the best strings you can get your hands on.
