KLUSON REVOLUTION DIECAST TUNERS - 3 PER SIDE - PEARLOID KEYSTONE BUTTON - CHROME

Introducing the NEW Kluson Revolution G-mount 19:1 high ratio locking tuning machine. Kluson has truly introduced a game changer with the traditional footprint and newly designed sealed die-cast housing. These state of the art tuners are designed to directly retrofit modern die-cast tuners with a screw-in hex head bushing and adding a rear knob locking mechanism, traditional Kluson two-screw mounting pattern and modern 25/64 inch peghole.

The vintage outline, pearloid plastic keystone button and pin-stripes pay tribute to Kluson heritage while the brand new housing appearance incorporates all the features the modern guitarist demands. High gear ratio guarantees silky smooth operation, fine tuning stability and no backlash all in a sealed one-piece housing that looks like it belongs in a jewelry case! Q & A

Question: Would these work on a 70s style flying V?
- asked on May 2, 2024
Answer: Not without drilling extra holes. 70's Flying V's use Grover Rotomatic's. The SKU# for locking Rotomatics that will fit is 28307, model 502C

My 2006 Les Paul Studio had problems staying in tune especially the G string. Decided to give the kluson locking tuners a try to remedy the problem. Very easy simple install and they mounted perfectly in no time. They look great. Great for tuning stability as well as quick string changes. All I can say is that they have exceeded my expectations and are worth it.

I love these!!!!! I picked up my LP two years ago from L&M in Burlington (great team BTW) and while I loved the guitar it kept going out of tune after a few string bends. It was so unreliable I would never take it to gigs because I would be constantly tuning. Then I found these! Installed them last night with a new set of strings took the guitar through a workout with some vintage ZZ Top and aside from slight out-of-tunes, which can be attributed to new strings working in, these things are solid! If you're frustrated with your LP always going out of tune I would highly recommend these. They look like the classic Klusons, they're built well, and they'll save you a lot of frustration.

I purchased these for a custom shop Les Paul I own, just hoping for a direct drop in locking tuner - but I was amazed and not only the tuning stability, but I find that the guitar now sustains MUCH better, which is insane as this guitar was already great at holding it's own. The lower height increased the angle over the nut - but not so much that it caused any issues - and the gearing ratio allows much finer tuning. They are significantly more stable and hold the tuning perfectly. Though they carry a high price - they are superior to other tuners I have tried (and I have tried every brand of locking tuner) Even though I only bought them just to have a drop in locking option - but lucked out and got a serious upgrade as well.
