Picked up this little machine on the weekend during Black Friday. No sale price lol. Actually surprised by that. But nonetheless. I needed an instrument that I could bring on my travels to practice. I don’t recommend the plastic mouthpiece. Not nearly as good as my Bach 1-1/2 g … In fact not even close. It’ll be interesting to see if I bring this plastic might be some in the future. But the main thing is to build my skills and build my chops. Slide is quite noisy but It moves well. Rotary valve is difficult to move. OK for now. Tone quality is OK. But I find tuning when in positions two through seven difficult.

Much better slide than my p-bone. This one is all plastic with no brass stockings. This eliminates the constant erosion of inner slide material and build up that clogs slide and requires constant cleaning. The f attachment makes it much more versatile, especially since long positions are poor on both this and p- bone. The rotor valve is metal and works surprisingly well.
The disappointment with this plastic trombone comes from the extra effort required to produce a good tone vs the p-bone and especially vs any brass trombone. Still, it is a fun toy and not a bad practice instrument.
