Popping noise in the neck. I was so excited to own a USA Martin and now disappointed in the quality control…. Long and MCQUADE tried to fix and I even presented them with a video of the sound . Brought it back and held it after a minute same noise. I love the overall sound and feel but it’s just very disappointing to spend so much on something that makes a terrible noise. I will be exchanging for a new one and I’ve lost hope for it to be ok. USA Martin guitars are kind of over hyped Even my camp fire guitar doesn’t make that noise

I have purchased many guitars in my life. This guitar has just blown me away, can't put it down. I love the simplicity of it. (I gave it a 5 for features because it perfect in it's simplicity). But even more I love the tone the feel of the satin neck and the overall feel of it in my lap. This is no 'banjo killer' so it doesn't have the boom of my dreadnoughts, but that's not what it is about. Of course L&M made it an easy purchase. Thanks

I'm in love! I bought this guitar on January 2, 2021 and have been playing it daily since then. Each evening, I can hardly wait for the moment when I open the case and that thick smell of mahogany wood fills the air. It's intoxicating, and inspires me to play my best. And the sound! When you lean into a note, it gives off some magical undertones and tasty harmonics, with huge sustain. This is a smaller guitar so it's quieter than a dreadnought, and the mahogany gives a warmer, more intimate sound than spruce. There are no decorations on this one, but that helps keep the cost on the low side, relatively speaking. I think it looks classy. The perfect guitar for me, and I still can't believe I'm a Martin owner!

I picked up this beauty during the Attic Sale for a great price. Would be a bargain even at full price. Excellent playability and wonderful tone. I use it mostly for finger style and flat picking blues. Great sustain and volume. Can’t put her down. Love this guitar!

I have owned this guitar for almost 8 year now...purchased on the advice of my trusty L&M crew. Since, it is always in the same room with me...I dare say it follows me around? Initially, I though it was a simple guitar compared to my first fancy Taylor, but not anymore. I have been blown away by how well this guitar aged and just how goooood it sounds. Perfect! The play ability truly inspires, which is what a real guitar should do. The neck is comfortable and body just resonates with flat picking and jumps with finger picking. I am amazed by the sustain and tonality, which equals anything I have heard. Do yourself a favour, buy it for your 2nd or 3rd guitar, because it will become your first.

The first thing that strikes you with this guitar is the heady scent of mahogany, like some powerful perfume. The instrument itself is beautifully crafted, as one can expect from a Martin guitar. The sound is less blatant than that of a spruce top, but at the same time very present and resonant. Playing it is truly magical, It’s worth every penny, and not too expensive, considering it’s all wood and made in Nazareth. Special thanks to Danny, of L&M Laval, who handled my order and for the prompt delivery.

After taking 20 plus trips over the past 2 months to my local Long and Mcquade trying everything, I finally made my mind up with the Martin 000-15m. I was always a Gibson guy, but honestly I feel like Gibson has gone down hill on quality, sound and tone! I’ve owned a Gibson songwriter deluxe standard and the playability and sound from the Martin is “Dare I say” BETTER!!! I’ve been playing guitar for 20 years and can tell you this Martin does it all. Weather your into finger picking or strumming, it sounds and feels like a high end guitar should! The size of the guitar is perfect, small and light “withought taking away from the sound and playability. You don’t get the lows that you would from a dreadnaught but it makes up for it in every other way! I highly recommend this guitar, it’s so versatile! Why pay $2000+ for acoustics that have a fancy finish, when the 000-15m just sounds better? It was a no brainer for me. Thanks to the fellows at L&M Fredericton for puting up with me for the past couple months lol, they were professional and knowledgeable.

The 00015 mahogany is a warm, mids sounding guitar. This is perfect for the finger picking, almost melancholy, folk style. That isn't to say it doesn't have a bright side if you want to accent that but it really suits the moody folk. It won't project chords like a dreadnought but if that's your style than this isn't the guitar for you. This one is more the melody side of things. The quality is acceptional and the sound just gets better with age. I appreciate the modest look. None of the flashy visual design features that don't affect sound but raises the price. The only reason I give it 4 stars in features is because there's no pick up. This might not even be important to you so you'll save a lot of money there. The kicker is how good it smells!! Yes, smells! Definitely worth the price, which isn't that crazy to begin with.

Bought this guitar yesterday and I love it. I'm a hobbyist and mostly do flat picking and use it for voice accompaniment in my home studio. It seems to be very well suited to that. The bass is tight and focused, the highs are clear and sweet and it has an overall balanced, woody and beautiful tone. It's a plain looking guitar, but the craftsmanship is flawless. I'm very happy with it.

I have been playing guitar for 40 years now... i owned many guitars...acoustics, aria, yamaha, takamine and the last one i had was a Gibson J-200 serial 000015 bozeman montana....it sounded amazing, but the neck was not for me...i owned les pauls, guild electrics....but fender strats are what i feel comfy with. This nice 000-15m is a easy transition back to acoustics....it's just a verynice guitar...love the size of the body....the neck is perfect coming from a strat....sounds perfect to my hears...very discreet...but with great tone. It's exacly what i was looking for in an acoustic. Smaller body, compared to a dreadnought...respomsive playing...not trebeley... overall, fun to play, and hard to put down. I never played this well on any acoustic i ever held. Highly recommended!

I tried dozens of acoustics, including Gibsons, Taylors and other higher end Martins. For me this one feels like 'home'. Crystal clear chime, but warm at the some time. Might be better for finger style/plucking than hard strumming but it's an awesome instrument.

I have owned my 000-15M for over a month now. It is the nicest sounding easiest playing guitar I have ever played. I play it on average 2 hours a day. The older it gets, the better it gets. Incredible instrument. Way to go Martin

Lovely tone…mellow and sure. Light as a feather! I've owned a D-28 and a 000-18 and I think this one is my fav. I use x-lite strings and she responds with great appreciation. Not fancy in the looks department, but a joy to play! People pay no attention to her until she sings.

Simple features but with great Martin craftsmanship. Darker sounding than a spruce top. Sounds great in all tunings but really shines in DADGAD. Awesome fingerpicking guitar but sounds great picked as well.

This guitar is one of the best values out there. Not too big; very comfortable to play. Definitely kind of a plain jane guitar, but I think that only adds to it's simple charms.

Performance Warranty Banner

Protect your investment with the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty

A warranty can be a very important factor when making a buying decision. Because repairs can be very expensive in terms of parts and labour costs, manufacturers usually only provide one year limited warranties that generally only cover items that malfunction due to a manufacturer’s defect. With an important purchase such as a musical
instrument or piece of studio gear, however, many people want to have the peace of mind in knowing that their investment will be protected should the product no longer be performing at 100%.

Because of this, Long & McQuade provides our customers with a FREE one-year Performance Warranty on most of our products. The Long & McQuade Performance Warranty supplements the manufacturer’s warranty to ensure that our customers receive complete “no hassle” warranty coverage within their first year.

How does the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty differ from most manufacturers' warranties?
  • Performance Guarantee: Normal wear and tear is covered, so your product will be performing as well as the day you purchased it for the entire duration of the coverage. Band and Orchestral Performance Warranty does not include replacing pads or cleaning for woodwind instruments, unless deemed necessary by our repair staff. Ultrasonic cleaning for brass instruments will be provided if deemed necessary by our repair staff, but is not routinely offered under the Performance Warranty.
  • Product Replacement: If your product cannot be fixed or costs too much to fix, we will replace it with the equivalent model for no additional charge. If this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
  • No Lemon Policy: Your product will be replaced should the same problem occur multiple times.
  • Convenient: Easy drop off and pick up of the product at any Long & McQuade location.
  • Guitar Setup: Guitars purchased at Long & McQuade come with 1 free setup, to be redeemed within 1 year for new guitars and 90 days for used guitars.
  • Loaners Available: A loaner product may be given while the product is being repaired.
  • Power Surge Protection: Your product is covered even if damaged from a power surge.
  • Accessory Coverage: Any peripheral devices or accessories that come with your product (i.e. foot pedal, case) are also covered.
  • Commercial Use Coverage: Music and recording professionals who purchase gear for “heavy-use” commercial purposes will still be covered.

Long & McQuade reserves the right to restrict the purchase of additional years of Performance Warranty. Used products come with a 3-month Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Some products (i.e. computers, software, cymbals and other items) are covered only by the manufacturer‘s warranty. Consumables (i.e. strings, reeds, drum sticks, batteries, tubes, cross faders) are excluded as they are designed to be replaced. Cosmetic Damage, Accidental Damage, or problems caused by Humidity or Temperature Issues are not covered. Speakers damaged by overpowering are generally not covered. Our coverage does not provide compensation for loss of use. As of June 2018 the Performance Warranty is no longer transferable. The warranty is only valid in Canada.

Purchasing additional years of coverage

Some manufacturers provide warranties for longer than 1 year; however, these are usually limited warranties that do not provide the same coverage as the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Customers interested in more complete and convenient (but not necessarily longer) coverage are still able to purchase additional years of the Performance Warranty.

If you are interested in receiving this coverage for longer than one year, you have the option of purchasing additional years of the Performance Warranty. The pricing is as follows:

  • NEW products: Starting at 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. Starting at 4% for each additional year.
  • USED products: Starting at 4% of the current new selling price to increase the warranty from 3 months to 1 year. Starting at 4% for each additional year.
  • GUITARS: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year. $45 maximum. An additional free setup is not included with additional purchased years of Performance Warranty.
  • BAND and ORCHESTRAL instruments: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
