The Alnico 2 Pro Humbucker neck uses the soft treble attack and low string pull of an alnico 2 bar magnet, combined with a special vintage output coil wind to create a warm, sweet tone that is smooth and full, with tons of natural sustain. I got the Alnico 2 Pro to replace the stock pickup in the bridge position and first thing I notice is that it's got that sweet tone that's hard to explain. It's not very bright or too trebly that sometimes hurt the ears. My guitar has plain mahogany body and yet it doesn't muddy at all, just enough brightness. Not aggressive but more classic sound, yet gets alot of fun with different effects. Very good clean sound, not distorted.
