Seymour Duncan 59 Humbucker in Black - Neck
Product Videos :
YouTube Video
2 models to choose from:
Designed to deliver classic P.A.F. tone with modern construction, the '59 (SH-1) vintage output humbucker pickup's open, detailed sound and sweet top end make it the perfect choice for rock and blues. Classic appointments include plain enamel wire, long legged bottom plate, vintage single conductor cable and no logo. Compared to the SH-55 Seth Lover, the '59 has slightly more scooped mids and is vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance.
• Late-'50s, vintage-correct humbucker sound
• Warm and crystalline clean tones
• Full and bright distorted tones
• Smooth sustain
Available in both neck and bridge models. Often a '59 neck is used together with a hotter bridge pickup like the SH-4 JB or SH-13 Dimebucker for extra versatility.

Threw this into a used dot 335 and it is now my favourite guitar to play.

I installed this 59 Bridge on an old single pickup Stratocaster copy. The one piece mahogany neck (with the thick Rosewood board) on this particular guitar),is so incredibly fine that it deserved to have something better that the stock pickup it came with. After a complete overhaul (new tuners, pots, cap and jack) and after all the fine tuning adjustments, this guitar sounds absolutely fantastic. I'm also very happy with the Seymore Duncan choice to leave their logo off the front. It preforms as well as the description says (and better) This guitar is now superb. Thanks, Good job !!!

Put this into a decent guitar with a not so great pick up. Now it sounds like a million bucks. Replaced the tuners with Grovers. Now it's a lean and mean rock'n'roll machine. Seymour Duncan make heavy duty pick ups.
